My face feels like a 5 layer cake and I could feel a lot of hair spray in curls. I looked in the mirror and saw myself. I was wearing a v neck backless red mermaid lace formal dress with black heels and to be honest the maids didn't bad. I actually liked it, but I don't see the reason for all this cakey makeup on my face it makes me feel like I'm suffocating.
I walked downstairs and saw my parents waiting for me. I thanked the two maids for their help as they handed me my white wrap which looked like a scarf, but it wasn't and I followed my parents out the door. Kai opened the door for us as we got in the car and as soon as he closed the door we left.
Tonight is the night of my engagement party and I was honestly a bit nervous to the point where my hands wouldn't stop shaking by knowing and thinking of everyone watching me enter the building along with my parents and how I have to live up to a good reputation for my parent's reputation, but mostly for my father's reputation.
The gently stopped outside of a big beautiful building. The lights from inside were shining brightly to the point where I can see the rays from outside. Kai got out of the car and opened the door with my parents first getting out and then me following behind them. I was pretty amazed of how fast my parents and Riku's parents set everything up, yet again both of our parents are owners of entertainment companies and industries.
We walked towards the front doors and as soon as we got there the doors were opened for us by two butlers. I took a deep breath and followed my parents inside and it was beautiful on the inside. Bright lights with chandeliers and fancy beautiful music playing in the background. I couldn't get enough of it and I couldn't stop smiling. I then saw everyone staring at my parents and I as we continued walking towards the front.
My father kept leading the way for us and I could hear people whispering which made me feel even more nervous then I already am. We then met up with the Takahashi family.
"Mr. and Lady Takahashi, how are you doing this evening?" My father asked.
"We are doing well Mr. Suzuki." Mr. Takahashi answered.
"You look wonderful Lady Takahashi." My mother said complimenting her.
"Why thank you, you also look wonderful." Lady Takahashi smiled.
"You too look wonderful dear." She said and smiled at me.
"Thank you Lady Takahashi. You also look very beautiful this evening." I said with a smile.
She smiled back and continued talking with my parents. I dismissed myself from their conversation and went to go check out the place. It was an absolutely beautifully and stunning place I've ever been to.
"Miss, would you like some champagne?" A waiter asked me.
"Oh, why thank you." I smiled and took a glass.
"You're most welcome." The waiter said and vanished into the crowd.
I held my champagne and walked away to the balcony where I could see the moon and the stars shining brightly down at us. I couldn't help, but gaze at them and just like that I got lost in my train of thought.
"Miss Aia, your parents are asking for you." Kai said.
"Of course I'm on my way." I said and walked to the doors that led back into the ballroom. Kai kindly escorted me to my parents and that's when I saw Riku.
Kai informed my parents that I have arrived and my father smiled which meant it was time to get down to business.
