I woke up the next day and god was I glad to have all that makeup off and finally feeling free in my own skin again. I went to go clean up and changed into a light blue dress and went downstairs for breakfast. I saw all the maids and butlers lined up downstairs as if this was the military. I was a bit curious, but I also didn't want to be nosy since it wasn't any of my business.
"Aia." I heard my father's voice said from behind me.
"Yes father." I said turning around.
"As of today you and Riku will be living together in your own place end of discussion." He said with an expressionless face and voice.
"Y-yes father." I said.
"Riku will be here any minute to take you to your guys new place. That's why I gathered all the staffs in the house to see you off." He said and walked away.
I turned around and looked at the staffs. I never imagined that I would be leaving those who basically raised me my entire life so soon.
"Miss Aia, please don't worry about us. We will all be fine here." Violet said.
"I know Violet, it's just that you guys practically raised me and I grew attached to each and every one of you and it's just so hard to leave you all." I said holding back my tears.
"I know Miss Aia, but we all understand and we're all happy for you." Violet smiled.
I smiled back and hugged her. I then persoy said my goodbyes to the other staffs and that's when I heard a car pulling up and Kai entering the house.
"Miss Aia, it is time to go." He said holding an umbrella.
"Of course." I said.
"We all wish you the best Aia." Violet said with a smile.
"I wish you all the best too." I smiled and walked out to the car with Kai following me. He held the umbrella over us and opened the door to the passenger seat for me.
"Miss Aia, it was a pleasure to serve you all these years and watch you grow up. It was truly the best years of my life." Kai said with a warm smile.
"The pleasure is all mine." I said with a smile back and he closed the door. We drove off into the ran and I watched Kai slowly fading away into the distance and that's when I was really on my own with a boy that I just met and recently got engaged to.
