Over the next few days, Salem didn't do much. He helped build permanent houses, set up small farms, and slowly progressed with his rehabilitation of his body.
It wasn't his inability to walk that irritated him the most. It was his inability to talk with people.
His solution was to make a Ghost from a certain fps game.
To make it so he didn't have to keep supplying it with psyche to function he created small particles that were magnetic. He surrounded them with small magnets that would make them spin, generating power. To keep it afloat, he just used small thrusters based off of jet thrusters from his previous life. He made a point to use as little of the system as possible. He didn't like relying on something he couldn't understand. To create it, he drained an entire 700 psyche. He could control it with his mind or he could let it hover over his left shoulder. He was unable to create an AI because his understanding of machine learning was too shallow in his previous life.
Pleased with his handiwork, he checked his status and was pleased to see that he had his stats improve again.

'It seems that with every blueprint my stats increase. Interesting.' Noting his psyche regen was now 0.55% and his vitality was keeping up with his intelligence, he walked towards Alina, who was placing thatch to make a roof. Having finally made baths for everyone the previous night, everyone had enjoyed cleaning themselves up. Now that her black hair and fair skin was no longer crusted with her own blood, he noted that she was incredibly pretty.
Controlling Ghost to fly up next to her, he spoke through Ghost. "Want help?"
She was so startled she almost fell off the roof.
"Saints above!" She exclaimed. "What are you?"
"I'm Ghost. Salem's new voice." Salem enjoyed Alina's reaction thouroghly. Her complete shock was amusing and her subsequent disbelief made him laugh, although there wasn't any sound from Salem.
He climbed up the ladder, had Ghost return to hovering over his left shoulder and asked her again.
"Oh. Sure." She showed him how to arrange the straw so it would let rain fall off the side, instead of into the rooms below.
"It's odd to me that I'm talking to a floating, three-dimensional hexagon named Ghost." She remarked.
"I doubt you'll get used to it before I leave." He replied.
"You're leaving?" She looked at him, a plethora of emotions crossed her face in a short time.
"Yes. Every time I encounter a problem, I'm able to create a solution for it and further advance myself. I want to find problems to solve. Not only for my benefit, but also for other's."
"If you're set on leaving, I want to come with. I'd also bet Ruby would want to come as well." She said, as though she completely understood his sentiment. "So...What should we call the village?" She asked teasingly.
Thinking of the geography of the Pacific Northwest, a joke occured to him, although they wouldn't get it.
"How about Oregon?"
She blinked, surprised that he actually had a name.
"Alright!" She said, more enthusiastically than she had intended. "I'll have a sign made before we leave." To try and cover her awkwardness, she focused on weaving her thatch.
Once they had finished, Alina and Ruby spread the word that a naming ceremony would take place next to the well. The naming ceremony was literally him using Ghost to speak the name he had selected and everyone repeating it.
After naming the village, everyone's morale increased again, despite him giving the news of his departure.
He selected his date of departure for seven days from the day of the naming ceremony.
