When Cole returned with Salem's pizza, he forced Salem to sit against the wooden wall of the room, laugingly saying
"I can't have you survive such a horrific accident just to let you choke on your pizza."
After letting Cole feed him the pizza, Cole restarted his line of questioning. He handed Salem the blackboard and began:
"This should be an easy one. Where were you before the fire?" Easy questions? ha.
Salem struggled to write legibly on the blackboard.
'I don't know,' figuring that it'd be easier to explain amnesia from a horrific event rather than 'Hey, I reincarnated!'
"Alright, then what's your class?" Cole asked with a smile. At this moment it occured to Salem that Cole had helped him recover in hopes of selling off someone weak who had a powerful class. So, hoping that he had no way of checking, he wrote: 'Unassigned'
Cole raised his eyebrows, keeping his smile. "Oh? What are your options for class up?"
Salem hoped his face was too burnt to show his growing panic. He wrote 'Requirements have yet to be met.'
Cole's creepy smile grew, while Salem's heart sank.
Cole's speech pattern changed slightly. "Alright thats enough for now. Rest well~" Giggling quietly to himself, Cole left the room.
'I guess he's aptly named.' Salem thought to himself humorlessly. 'It would seem I need to hasten my recovery.' And so, Salem began experimenting with his nanomachines.
'What is my current understanding of my nanomachines?

'So, let's start experimenting!' Creating a small clump of nanobots, he coalesced them into a smooth rod that was hollow on the inside. Checking his psyche, he saw precisely how much psyche this project would cost. He was going to create a mech to compensate for his current inability to move. And he needed to make it quickly.
