"Take care, Lillian, Ray." Lucy and Hal waved at the door as they walked away, the children at their feet, trying their hardest to stay awake.
"Bye!" Lillian and Ray waved until they couldn't see them anymore. She turned to Ray and nudged him, "Did you enjoy yourself?"
"What makes you think I did?" He answered, crossing his arms around his chest.
"Didn't you see how you played with the kids? You could hardly leave them alone." Lillian laughed, remembering how they climbed on him and seeing him run around with them, without losing strength, "You'll make a good father one day."
"I don't think so," Ray answered, looking at the bright moon in the sky. "But it is fun being able to play with them."
"Why don't you think you'll be a good dad, Ray?" Lillian stood in front of him, hands behind her with her bag.
"Just some silly thing in my head, don't worry." He said, trying to brush her question away.
