Stephen leaned on a tree, "Must you be so cold to me?"
Harper, without even looking up, "Kind of, yeah. Anyway, don't you have somewhere you need to be?"
Stephen raised an eyebrow, "Have my schedule memorised now, have you?"
Harper sighed, "Please Stephen. I'm not really interested in being another one of the girls that roam all around you. Besides, don't you have enough. Just leave me alone?"
Saying this she walked away.
Stephen smiled as he stared at Harper's retreating back, "I've never met with someone so interesting. Ooooo..... You've pitiqued my interest, little doll. I'll get you. One way or another."
Ever since that day, Harper had been more disliked among the girls of the power course, the one that lived in the West tower.
It was usual for them to try to pull pranks on her or yell, or sometimes even hit her.
Harper did not know what to do, she planned to go to Professor Moon about all the bullying, and had been thinking about it.
When, the day the fights were cancelled when Helen lost control and beat up the boy, Harper went into the forest to escape the girls.
She wanted to have some peace and quiet.
"I wonder where Jacob is? Probably hanging around Aria again. Hmph." Harper mumbled to herself as she plucked a flower and stared at it.
"Who's Jacob? Some other boy you are trying to wrap around your fingers with petty tricks?" Her attention was attracted by a voice.
As Harper looked up, she saw a bunch of girls looking disdainfully at her.
Harper had seen them before, they usually bullied her with their bending powers.
Harper got scared and started looking in each direction for a means of escape.
"Oooo. Who are you looking for? Waiting for one of your toys to come save you?" One of them said.
Harper recognised the girl, she was Bella Thorne. Harper remembered her name because she was usually with a gang of boys who liked to hang around Aria.
Harper retreated as the girls advanced.
"I'm.... I'm telling you.....Stay away from me. I'll-I'll tell Professor... I'll tell Professor Moon." Harper stammered.
Bella laughed, "Ohh. You'll tell on us? Oooo!!! That makes me so scared."
Saying this the girl advanced, and the others followed her example.
Harper backed away until she stumbled across a root and fell on the floor. The girls were upon her in an instant.
Some hit her with their hands, others with their water bending. Some kicked her, and some pulled out her hair.
Harper screamed and one of the girls kicked her in the gut. "That'll teach you to stay away from Stephen. Don't you dare go near him again." She snapped.
"What the hell is happening!?!?!?!" A voice too familiar to the girls shrieked, and they froze.
Stephen came running towards the girls and they backed away, leaving Harper on the ground.
Stephen helped her up and pulled her in his arms, earning a lot of jealous glances from the girls. "What the hell were you guys doing!?!? Why are you beating her???" Stephen shrieked as he was horrified to see all the wounds on Harper's body.
Bella and the other girls were silent, but Harper could tell by their stares that what would come next will make this beating seem like child's play.
