Joseph looked out of the window, "He has to take care of his family?"
Aria: "Didn't you wonder why he was seventeen when he came to the academy?"
Joseph: "Why?"
Aria opened her mouth but checked herself, "It's not my story to tell. You will have to ask him yourself."
Joseph walked over to Jacob's study table and picked up a book. He said, opening the book to a page which had been folded at the corner as a bookmark, "He seems to shoulder many things."
Aria came and stood beside him. She looked out of the window, "Don't we all?"
Joseph turned to look in surprise at Aria, but she gave no reaction. After a few seconds of looking at her, his face changed. He kept the book and strolled towards the bed, "I guess you are right. We all do, in our own ways."
"In our own ways....." Aria said in such a small voice that Joseph had to read her lips to make it out. Even then he couldn't be sure that was what she had said.
Before he could comment any further, Aria abruptly turned and walked towards the bathroom door. She knocked and said, "Are you thinking of coming out Jacob? Or should I bring your sheets in their for you to sleep."
Jacob's irritated voice rung out of the bathroom, "Can't a man have even two minutes of peace? I'll come out when I want."
Aria smirked as she said in her sweetest voice. The voice was so sweet it seemed like honey was dripping out of it. Joseph stared at Aria to make sure it really was her that was speaking. She said, "Oh no, take your time. I just wanted to tell you that we're going to have a peek into Professor Thomas's office. Hope you won't mind when you come out and not find us here....Or rather, me." She added after glancing at Joseph, who was looking like he wanted to very badly punch someone.
Aria had barely finished her sentence when the door opened and Jacob walked out.
He stood towering over Aria and said, "Let's go."
Aria's eyes brightened but Joseph cut in, "Are you sure that's such a good idea, White? You just barely got out of the last pinch."
Jacob's face wavered and Aria bit her lip. That was right. Jacob had barely gotten out of punching the boy.
She waved her hand and opened the window, "Okay then. You two stay here, I'll come back and report what is happening." She said as she climbed on the windowsill.
Before either Joseph or Jacob could react, Aria had already jumped down and was flying towards the South tower.
Jacob shook his head, "There's no helping her. Once she decides something, I'm sure it will take an army to stop her."
"I'm sure not even an army will be able to do that." Joseph muttered as he also climbed on the window.
Jacob was horrified, "What are you doing Scott?"
Joseph: "I'm going there."
Jacob crossed his arms, "If you're going then I'm also coming."
Joseph: "Don't be stupid White. I'm not the one who has punishment for a month. Besides, I'll be back soon. I just want to confirm something." And then he jumped too.
Jacob muttered as he watched Joseph fly away, "All this flying is really getting on my nerves."
