Julia calmed down a lot upon hearing what her mother said.
At this point, her father came into the room. He said, "What happened?"
Natalia quickly explained everything. Joseph sighed, "She is usually good at controlling her temper."
Natalia: "I can guess what triggered it off. Do me a favour Joseph, I really want to be there to comfort both of them, but sadly, I have more responsibilities." She shook Julia's head with one hand and her belly with the other.
She continued, "So, tell Beth to come down here. She must be in her room. I don't mind what you have to do, drag her by her hair if that's what it takes. She really had crossed the line this time. And then, my dear, find Aria and make sure she is okay."
Joseph: "Where did she run off to."
Natalia: "That's the problem, I don't know."
Joseph: "Don't worry. I'll find her after making a guess or two."
Natalia nodded and said in an agrieved tone, "But Beth first. The child is reckless, I can imagine the things she will do in anger."
Joseph quickly ran upstairs as Natalia continued to comfort Julia. When Joseph reached Beth's door, he pushed it and found it to be locked. He knocked and said, "Beth, come out. Your mother wants to talk to you."
Beth: "....."
Joseph: "She won't scold you, I promise. She's worried and I am too. Come out, Beth."
Beth: "....."
Joseph got a little worried and said, "Beth darling, I know how it may seem to you, but we don't love Aria more than you. It's just that she is younger than you and rarely..."
Joseph could not finish his sentence as the door opened. Beth came out of the door and silently hugged her father's waist. Joseph could feel Beth vibrating and his shirt getting wet, so he knelt down and hugged his daughter. After Beth had cried till her eyes ran dry and her sobbing had gone down a considerable level, Joseph slowly asked, while stroking her head, "Do you want to go to mom?"
Beth nodded silently and Joseph stood up while hugging her, lifting her up in her arms.
He slowly walked down, all the while caressing Beth's head. He really felt sad upon seeing his treasure in such a state. Seems like he really did neglect his other daughters due to Natalia's pregnancy and Aria's outstanding talent.
As he entered the room with Beth in his hands, Natalia smiled. Julia had also stopped crying and was sitting by the window. Hearing the door open, she looked towards it and saw her father coming in with her sister. As Joseph set Beth down, Julia immediately ran up to her. Beth hugged her and said, "Sorry Julia."
The two sisters hugged for a while before Beth went towards the bed to apologise to her mother. But Natalia shook her head, "You don't need to apologise to me."
Beth: "Where's Aria?"
Natalia: "Your father's gone to get her."
Joseph had stood for a while before going out of the castle. He had a fair idea of where Aria could be.
