Chapter 63 - Envelope

Haze still had a simple mission to expand his mansion, so he bought the two properties next door.

The houses had been put on sale because the neighborhood watch had noticed some strange occurrences in Haze's house. The neighbors had rushed to move out so Haze was able to get a good deal.

In fact, all he had to do was make a single phone call and he was able to purchase the house. The real estate business he called was desperate to sell the properties and gave the houses to him for next to nothing.

Haze figured there was a chance the organization that owned the real estate business knew he was a . It seemed a lot of the businesses that he once thought were shady from a distance were actually hiding more than he thought possible.

The two new properties were literally his to own in under an hour. He now owned half of a block in downtown Australia.

"So, you called me just to watch you buy property," [Endless Fantasy] yawned as she sat down in Haze's living room. "Anyways, what's happening with Laminate? Why did she message boht of us?"

"She messed with someone named [Lotus Touch]. Haze felt tired from his long day as Waist sat down with him by the couch.

She had the remote in her hand and was taking control of the television while Zack wasn't around. She had a smile on her face like the world was her oyster.

She couldn't believe that they had thousands of movies she hadn't seen before, and was glowing like a radiant ball of light. She was sort of like an otaku herself, and when she wasn't modeling watched anime.

In terms of looks, She was so beautiful that some men would drop dead if they saw her walking down the street. However, the real thing that would kill a man is when they heard about her habits. She liked to watch anime on the side and often times didn't mind lounging for hours all day.

To Haze, he was shocked to see that someone that looked like a model was geeking out.

It was a nice relief from all the fighting he had to do recently.

Mack walked over to them with his cellphone and a bowl of chips. He handed it to Waist as she found an anime that was rated 5 stars on Silver Central - the leading place to find the best anime.

"Wow, so many 5 star animes I haven't watched." Waist said as she smiled and clicked on the anime she wanted to watch on the new streaming service Cat Flix. "You sure there is nothing you want to tell me?"

"Nothing, just trying to give myself a day to rest. Tomorrow, when I get into the D rank, It's going to be time to kill it in ."

"Can i sit?" [Ant life] yawned as three duplicates of himself looked around the room, "This is so confusing. Everything looks the same but somethings don't have the same function."

"For instance, this remote, the red button is meant to turn off the television. Why wouldn't you make this green?"

"It's nothing to worry about," Waist patted the couch as Carl looked at the pictures on the wall.

There was a couple pictures of Haze's sister in large frames and a couple of his mother and father in much smaller frames. He'd forgotten the movers had installed those pictures.

He sighed and looked over at Waist as she smiled and put a pillow on his lap. She looked at him with a smile before she pulled up a blanket.

"In my planet, if you;'re friends with someone, you can sleep on them," Waist said as she yawned and dropped her head on the pillow, "It's a real thing, trust me."

"She's lying," [Ant Life] said as she shook his head and tossed away the remote, "It's only true in a few countries. That mean's it's not completely true."

"Leader...." Ginger walked into the room and did a slight bow to Haze. He hadn't seen the gold haired beauty in a while, "There is this strange thing that barks on the front lawn. Should we do something about it?"

"It's a dog," Haze got up and walked over to the window. To his surprise, the French Terrier was back. He was certain he saw the devil he encountered give it away. "How would it be back?"

"Mortality, go check on it." Waist got up and stretched as she walked to the window. "It's so small. How did it get over the massive fence you have in your back yard?"

"I don't know?" Haze looked out the window as [Mortality] approached it. He cautiously walked up to it before he leaned down towards its collar. It had an envelope on the back of it's neck with a golden seal.

"Hey, you got a letter from [Lotus Touch]... He said to dm him..." [Mortality] opened the letter as he heard a clicking sound. Mortality's body instantly burst into pieces and spread across the lawn.

The dog had somehow survived and flew into the water as a large cloud of dirt shot in every direction.

"Okay, what the hell?! Tell me what's going on now!" Endless Fantasy said as [Mortality] started to reform. "We just got back from a horrible mission, and someone's already trying to blow you up!"
