Haze walked into his old bedroom inside of the strange building.
There was as television playing, and his mother was walking up to him with a large bruise on her neck.
Haze's father had been in the military and came home to drink everything before he either took it out on him or his mother. He almost forgot that one of the reasons he decided to stay inside was because by his computer he felt safe. The terror of seeing his mother with that bruise on her neck and smiling shook him to the core. How was he supposed to crack the code of bliss in this place? It was literally his old house?
"Is that you?" Rail looked at Haze ignoring his mother as he watched the television, "You look exactly like Zack when his favorite anime is on."
"This-this is before my father started working overseas," Haze crossed his arms as his mother smiled as his father walked in the room and patted him on the head. He had blonde hair and blue eyes and looked of western descent while his mother was of Asian descent. "My-my father... He met my mother in Japan on a mission. He-he's the reason I stay inside all the time... I think?"
"So, no wonder I like to watch television," Zack nodded his head and walked up to his father, "What would you do if you could go back?"
"Probably beat the shit out of my father," Haze saw the contempt on his father's face as he snarled and walked up the stairs, "He-he's the reason I'm so worried all the time."
"You're a godsmith now... Let's get out of here champ," Rail jumped on his back and pointed towards the kitchen. "Try not to cry now.... You're supposed to find happiness in this place."
"Want me to tell you a joke?"
"No, it's okay Zack," Haze sighed and walked into the other. He was expecting to see his kitchen, but ended up seeing his first high school in the United Kingdom. His father had sent him to imilitary school and made him train with some of the toughest teachers on the planet. The only problem was he never got to strengthen his body or his mind because on the first day he broke his arm and his leg on an obstacel course. He then had to take courses from his dorm, by himself, for next three months.
It was there that he fell in love with anime and started studying medicine.
A man named Kin by some of the students had been behind him as he raced up the ropes.
He looked up and wiped the sweat off his head as his teenage self, with brown hair and dark eyes, ran up the wall before Kin jumped up to try and climb his body.
He instantly fell and burst into the sand fifty feet below as he felt the pain spreading through his body in the present.
"Ah! My leg!"
"Oh shit! Father's boy fell!"
"Step over him! Don't mind his face!"
"i really can't move," Haze screamed and grabbed his arm before his arm showed popping through his socket. "What the hell? This-this freaking hurts!"
"You-you piece of shit!" His drill sergeant plucked Haze off the floor and put him over his shoulder, "You-re as bad as I thought. Can't watch your back?"
"That-that must have been the bone Calli fixed." Rail pointed at the muscle popping ou this back. "Anyways, it's probably going to get worse. You okay?"
"I'm fine... Just... what's the point of this?" Haze walked through his old self with a grimace and over towards a white doorway shimmering with light, "How did you get here anyway Zack?"
"The dragon's digestive system is this city..." Zack shrugged his shoulders, and pointed over at Michigan who was sitting down on a bench eating food, "Want to sit? We still have two hours."
"I like chocolate," Michigan smiled and bit into the bar. "Anyways, I think there is more down here then memories... Though I did like watching you get turned down by three girls in a row."
"Haze... You're a dweeb..." A girl smiled and tossed a flower in a teenage Haze's face as he fumbled with his cellphone in his hand. "Your last girlfriend broke up with you for a reason... Pathetic..."
"They-they couldn't show something else?" Haze sighed and looked at Rail. "Don't judge me okay! I just got my legs back, and asking out girls was fun!"
"Looks embarrassing," Zack yawned and pat Haze on the back, "We should probably try and see what we have to fight down here... There is no way all we have to do is make you happy."
[Mission has been updated]
[Endless Fantasy has entered into the underworld city...]
[Protect her from dying in the next five minutes, or the mission si failed...]
"Hey... how can they do that? That's ridiculous!" Haze spun around as the area around him changed into a tournament arena. Like
One of the characters [Mash] has a large spear above his head with his name glowing in green.
"What the hell? Do you know how they got her?"
"It was probably a mission she volunteered for," Rail yawned and pushed Zack forward. "We could really use Waxing... Where is she anyway?"
"Oh,s he's in my pocket," Zack slowly pulled the
