Growl
Olivia's hand caresses her stomach.
She was feeling hungry.
She was still thinking of how to make good use of Emma's money.
She had loosened the tie around it and spread everything on top of the bed. She knew that even though the money was much, which could be shocking if someone sees it and compared it to Emma's living style, it's still not enough to buy the laptop that she owned in her own world.
The keypad never faded, as it looked like the alphabet and numerical keys were glassed in it. The whole case was made of real gold.
She wasn't happy with this world, but there's one thing that makes her not loathe it to the core.
She has freedom.
She has money in front of her and can spend it like she wished to. To be exact, she can go out and pick the things that she wanted without having to watch her back like a hawk and earning a pitiful stare from the citizen that happened to see her frequently appear on the news over the attempt on her life.
Olivia sighed a little. After that thought popped up, she couldn't help but tell herself to endure, as this world isn't entirely bad.
Her eyes roamed about the room and she told herself that it needed some polishing.
But that's for later, because right now, she's feeling very hungry.
She got up from the bed and headed towards the wardrobe. She picked out a towel and clothes to change into, before heading out of the room.
Darling couldn't help but wondered why the sudden calmness in Olivia. She could tell that she was on the verge of exploding a few minutes ago, but now she was so calm and moving around as if she had accepted her fate.
She couldn't read her mind, since she wasn't in Olivia's head and the girl seems to have forgotten that she existed.
You might be wondering the same thing that the system was surprised over.
Olivia felt calm because she hated Emma, less. The threat from the sharks and how she felt herself feeling the inner turmoil of Emma at the scene, was one reason.
Another reason was the fact that Emma was sponsoring two girls to school and had to make sure her mother was fine.
Despite a busy day at work, she still had to rush home and cook for them.
Everything made her understand the girl. She doesn't like the family or anyone, but she was smart enough to know that Emma couldn't help her situation.
Olivia realized what the system meant by her potential could fix Emma's world. Even if she wasn't missioned to do it, there are two annoying characters in this whole thing that she would willingly volunteer to help deal with.
The loan sharks and Sammy.
Her feet paddled towards the bathroom, with a calm expression. She couldn't help but wonder the same thing as Emma usually does.
She felt like there's more to this Williams family. After accessing some of Emma's hustling scenes, she realized that the girl was qualified enough for better jobs.
No matter what step she took, it felt like someone was trying to suppress her. She would only be left alone after securing a humiliating job, like the one where she got food stuff that would expire in 2 days.
The good places that had told her to come start working the following week, would treat her like they have never seen her before, when she went to resume work.
Emma was battling with this mystery, and felt like it was more of a warning to her. She wasn't allowed to dream high and just live each day, by struggling and managing the peanut that she earned.
If you're still wondering about Olivia's suddenly being calm, that's also one reason.
She felt like someone powerful was after this family, but who?
Getting inside the bathroom, she wasn't full minded to complain about anything and also, the bathroom was clean and smells nice.
There wasn't a jacuzzi, but the shower in it looks new. Emma just recently fixed one after her acting job improved her pocket.
The floor was cemented, which happened to be on the list of things that needed renovation, in Olivia's mind.
She had her shower real quick and left for the living room.
Unlike how there was a dining room in her own mansion, Emma's family dined in the sitting room.
Getting there, she saw the entire family sitting on the couch. The atmosphere was awfully silent.
The twins' eyes locked with her own. The girls looked like they wanted to bolt towards her, but suddenly calm and just kept staring.
Olivia's eyes locked with Nemo.
While wondering why the cat had a bed on Emma's bed, Olivia had seen the memories of how he was like Emma's comfort.
For some reason unknown, she felt bad.
Not to the family, because a part of her still believed that they are the reason why Emma struggled so much.
She felt bad for Emma. For calling her a dummy. What revolves around the girl was enough to make someone dumb.
She now sees Emma as a strong girl. She really had it bad.
"Is there food? I'm hungry." Olivia said and the twins' eyes brightened up.
"Yes, sister Emma. Mommy, Amy and I cooked today." Amelia spoke up, looking excited.
Olivia just stared at her blankly, before nodding her head. "Go and bring it." She said and walked towards where Caroline was sitting, with Nemo besides her.
Taking her seat opposite the woman, who had a soft smile on her face, Olivia stared around the whole room and returned her gaze back to Caroline.
The twins had sprinted towards the kitchen to bring food for her.
Olivia recalled that Darling hadn't said anything and was about to search for the bunny, when she spoke up from her mind. "I'm here."
Olivia pretended as if she hadn't tried to search a while ago and ignored the system.
"Baby, how was work today?" Caroline broke the silent.
Olivia wanted to ignore, but couldn't bring herself to. The woman's smile has dropped after she didn't get a reply.
Seeing that, Olivia spoke up. "It was hectic but bearable."
Caroline smiled again and began making conversation about how she cooked her favorite and all.
Olivia just hummed in response, but Caroline didn't seem to mind. She still felt like her baby was stressed and would get over it, soon.
Within a few minutes of running around enthusiastically, the brown wooden round surface table was set up.
It wasn't much, but the aroma was so intoxicating that Olivia couldn't even think of complaining. She inhaled it like a drug addict, making Caroline smile and the twins giggled.
Amy was already filling up Nemo's bowl.
Olivia dug in, under the excited stare of Amy, while Caroline waited to know the results of her cooking. Perhaps her baby would at least let her handle cooking from now.
She put in extra effort, than the last time.
Prrrrrrrrr
Olivia paused and opened her mouth wide. The chewed food in her mouth nearly fell off.
The atmosphere turned awkward.
Olivia couldn't believe that she just farted.
Oh god! It must be Emma's body.
There's no way it was her!
