Chapter 29 - Days are indeed boring

It's been a day since I went to Yuri Noona's apartment and talked with her about a lot of things, including Eimi and Yoona. As I've always thought, it's really terapeutic for me to go to her apartment.

Anyway, I bought Ju Hyun-ah and Yoona-yah gifts, and I wanted to give both gifts to the little girl today. With that in mind, I could not concentrate at all during class, making me really anxious all day, and making me daydream all day.

This behaviour was obviously not missed by my teachers, that made me solve a couple of exercises and answer a lot of question throughout the day. Some of them I knew, but some others I did not have any idea about, giving some laughs to the rest of the classroom whenever I failed at them.

Not that I cared about them. On the other hand, the one I really cared about, didn't give me any reaction, and even dodged my gaze when I looked at her.

Now that I think about it, It's really weird. I have a gift for someone I'm in the same room with right now, but yet, I can't give the gift away. Anyway, a couple of minutes passed, and the ring bell that signaled the end of school hours sounded.

I immediately packed away all of my things and rushed towards the exit, not even waiting for the teacher to finish saying goodbye to us. A bit disrespectful, but I was just so anxious right now.

Before I even noticed, I was already riding my bike in the same route I've been taking for a long time right now. After what I felt was a whole hour, which couldn't be more far from reality, I arrived at the entrance of my old school, that was now full of students and parents waiting for them. Without getting off the bike, I got directly in front of the exit gate of the school and waited.

I guess I was simply too anxious. Laughing to myself, I anxiously waited for her to show up any moment now. When it got the point that I was furiously tapping my feet, I finally heard it.

— Oppa! What are you doing here? — There she was, the cute and innocent eye smile monster that I've known for a couple of years now. The little girl, which was now reaching my shoulders in height, quickly approached me and cutely jump-hugged me.

— Yah, Ju Hyun-ah, you're a lot taller now, one of these days you're really gonna kill me with those hugs — Even though I "scolded" her, I couldn't erase the smile from my face.

— Oppa! I'm not that heavy — once again, that eye smile attacked my heartstrings, but her gunfire of questions quickly woke me up — What are you doing here Oppa? Don't you know I have to go to SM? Is everything alright? Did you brought food?

Getting a little dizzy from all the questions, I jokingly interrupted.

— Okay Okay, calm down, can't I come to visit you? Also, Am I just a food maker for you? — Hyun-ah is just so innocent, she actually was sadly staring down while saying — It's not that Oppa....

She got quiet for a couple of seconds, until I said, while patting her head.

— Yah, little girl, Is your Oppa that cheap to you? — Laughing, with my other had, I quickly brought a plastic container full of food.

The second I brought out the food, I could swear I saw stars shining in the little girl's eyes, who was still hugging me.

— Now, didn't you say you should be going to SM, Where are your parents then? — I asked her, puzzled...

But the little girl was stuffing his mouth with the Gimbap that I prepared. Softly shaking my head, I said while smiling.

— Aigooo! Isn't it too cold, you should've waited until you got to SM for someone to heat it a little bit for you — the little girl immediately started shaking her head and rapidly pointed her thumb up.

After she finished munching her food, she finally answered my earlier question.

— They are busy today, Oppa, so I'm going there alone — the place she actually trained was about a 40 minute walking away, so I quickly said.

— Isn't that a little bit far? — and then jokingly started to roleplay — should I be the princess' bodyguard for the time being.

While doing all this, I jokingly bowed to her, which was a little bit awkward as I was still on the bike. She laughed at my awkward bow and simply nodded at me, making me a little bit flustered.

I then got off the bike, and started walking with her towards SM. Actually, I was going to accompany her until more or less half the journey, where we were supposed to separate because the route towards SM and YG diverged.

The journey was really normal, Hyun-ah told me about her day, and some of the special events these last days since we last met. Everything was pretty much regular, until she started talking about a new friend she made.

— Oh! Oppa, I met a new friend at SM — it actually surprised me, because the little girl was really shy, so I quickly asked.

— Oh yeah? Who's the poor soul? — she immediately hit me with her elbow, making me grimace in pain.

— Okay, Okay, sorry, who is it? — I rephrased my question.

— It's actually someone my own age, she comes from Daegu and is really good at singing. I think she will quickly debut, because she's really pretty and really good. Also, she really looks like a foreigner, but she always insists she's Korean. But really Oppa, she's so pretty, her hair is so long, and also her eyelashes are long as well. She's also so cool, she can speak English really well, and ...

Okay, that was quite a speech, after that savage bombardment of words from the little girl, explaining to me how this girl from Daegu was almost perfect, that continued for around 10 minutes, I finally said.

— Okay, Okay, I understand she's really pretty and really talented, so how did you meet her?

— Oh yes! I almost forgot to tell you about that, she's really good, but she's kind of clumsy when dancing, so the instructor told me to help her with her dancing, and we started to talk since then.

I immediately praised the little girl while patting her head, which immediately brought once again that dangerous eye smile.

— Here you are, the little Hyun-ah is also so talented. — after that cute interaction, she continued.

— But seriously Oppa, you should meet her at least once these days.

Trying to laugh it off, I immediately said.

— Okay, Okay, so what's this girl's name? — a cute frown then appeared on her face while saying.

— That's the thing, she says she's Korean, but only her family name is, also she has your same family name. She told me her name was Park Eimi — then the little girl was visibly surprised, because I stopped walking after she said that name — Is something wrong, Oppa?

A smile quickly appeared once again on my face, and I shook my head while asking.

— So, Is this Eimi a good friend?

The dangerous eye smile came back while she powerfully nodded. My smile grew and I replied.

— Well, then take care of her, Understand? — another powerfully nod from her ended that conversation.

As I noticed, we were actually arriving to the place we were going to separate, I said.

— So, Hyun-ah, I kind of remember that there was a special day coming this month. But I can't seem to remember what it was exactly — I noticed the little girl hugging my right arm, and as I stared at her eyes, the stars from earlier were present once again.

— What is it? What is it? What is it? Gift.. Gift... Gift... — she started to cutely hop while in place, tempting me to tease her a little bit more, but I knew better than that and just took out something from my pocket. It was the pink rose bracelet that I bought for her, that actually had an H engraved after the message.

— Here you are little princess, your early birthday gift — she took it out from my hand and attentively gazed at it, while I was talking — It's only a little present from me, Okay? Not anything special at all.

By now, she was directly gazing at me, making me dodge her gaze while I awkwardly scratched my head. Another powerful hug hit me, while she said.

— Thank you so much, Oppa, it's so pretty — then silence came for a couple of seconds, before I interrupted it.

— So... Did you read the message? — as the girl was still hugging me, with her head buried in my chest, I could only sense her nod, before she abruptly said.

— But Oppa, what about Yoona-unnie? — she raised her gaze and stared at me while in the verge of tears. I thought to myself, or so I thought.

— Why are you so cute? — after she released me from her hug and started pouting, the tears disappearing completely, I took out another two bracelets from my pockets and handed her another one, the golden one precisely, with a letter Y engraved on it.

— This is for Yoona — I pointed towards the bracelet that I just handed her — and this one is mine — pointing towards the bracelet that I was putting on right now, that had a "C" engraved.

I guess she noticed the initials by now, because her smile came back and she hugged me once again while telling me how awesome I was. I shyly replied.

— I know I'm awesome, didn't you know already? But remember, this is our little secret okay? — I gestured for her to keep quiet about it — tell her it's a gift from you okay? Don't tell her it's from me, it's better that way — The little girl seriously nodded — also, tell that little Eimi that C hasn't forgotten about her — By now, Hyun-ah initially tilted her head, but ended nodding anyway.

After that, we happily walked the rest of the journey, until both of us separated, and our training hours started. That afternoon, some people at both YG and SM were about to get really surprised.

But, let's leave that for the future...
