I ride my personal spacecraft that I have named 'Siszha'. It is a custom-made spacecraft solely for my convenience. Lord Kantala approved my spacecraft for a mission from a planet where I had to be actively roaming. It has everything I needed, resembling a compact mobile headquarters. It is armed with hidden cannons that I can activate if I ever wanted to. And it has an incredible ability to hide its presence with its invisibility technology.
With my Siszha, I ride through the skies of Kryok. I am headed East. From where I came from, the direction of Kirin Solana's position was on the East according to one of the screens. It was quite far, but I am patient. I flew for hours until I am close enough to hover around them from a safe distance. "We were attacked an hour after we left the town. We dealt and emptied our magazines with the Scratchers and some Rangers. Our Stabilizers died from their attacks. Then a Shielder took the opportunity to knock us out good"
Siszha was able to obtain sound from the ground. Among the Arkulan soldiers is Kirin Solana's signature. "So that's a Shielder's doing..." Curious about what their topic is, I used my main panel to see down the ground. A destroyed transport vehicle lies smoking in the middle of the sands. It seems like a convoy was out to rescue them. Above them is a squadron of fighter spacecraft, the Starfighters. "Hey, help us out here!" My heart raced as I heard her voice. If I let myself lose, who knows what I might do?
I took a deep breath and watched the Arkulan soldiers rescue the survivors of the mess. Among the rescued people, I saw a Narukh'za. "What...!" I felt my body tense up as I saw one of my own people rescued out of the vehicle. "Is this a prisoner transport...?!" That was my first thought. My mind raced through my memories that might connect to this incident. But none came through, so I took a deep breath again. "How... is this possible...?" I looked closely at the Narukh'za. Aside from her wounds from the crash, she seems to be doing well. She looks nothing like a prisoner and is dressed up properly. If the accident hasn't happened, she will look much better.
I had to go down there. It's not only for Kirin Solana now, it's that woman too! I need to know. I immediately think of something. "Yes... that!" I hit a bullseye. A few years ago, we confirmed that the Arkula has access to the coordinates of a unique planet where everywhere is green and blue. They call it 'Earth'. It's nothing like all the other planets we have sat our feet on and they described its dwellers as similar to them, no, to US ALL! Lord Kantala desires to pay a visit to this planet, the dwellers will increase our slave population and boost our economy way better. Aside from its dwellers, its resources are almost untouched. A perfect world for our empire to have. It will make us wealthier with all those resources.
I quickly contacted Ladrak and immediately assigned him to lead a small strike force to intercept the Arkula. He made his preparations at once and I brought my attention back to the ground. "The Narukh'za or the Zakana might finish us off here!" "WE will!" I jumped and almost hit my face at the panel. I slowly sat back in my seat as I realized that I was talking to nobody. It seems like seeing the Arkula still makes me who I was back then. I am partly glad.
"Well, it's my first time experiencing everything, after all. It's natural to be this way at first!" I heard a female child's voice and quickly looked around. I saw two blonde people near Kirin Solana. Blonde, they call those golden hairs, when a Narukh'za sees a blonde person, they will immediately go for their head. "...A child?" They brought a child? Is this rather a field trip? With Kirin Solana on it? Did she retire to an educational establishment? "No..." I muttered as I shook my head. Those eyes look dangerous as ever. The talk spreads fast that she lost her eyes during a Zakana assault, and Lonara Hamarya, their leader, built her a pair of artificial eyes and made them convenient for battles.
Lord Kantala implemented a device for most of our ships to detect the activities of her eyes. And one of my panels is showing me that her eyes are actively gathering information and observing their surroundings, scanning for dangers. It's like her eyes have their own life. Despite her cutting-edge technology, she has no way of detecting invisible foes. How amusing. "Chirlin! It's a dead person's property!" I heard the older blonde woman speak as they argue about the weapon of their fallen comrade.
Why are they afraid of the late? Shouldn't they be mourning instead of avoidance? I patiently wait for them to finish their little talks. Idly chattering in the sands where the Zakana lurks under? And they call us reckless. A bit while later, someone among them suggested moving forward. "I don't like the idea of staying here any longer. The Zakana might be gathering this whole time to finish us" One of the soldiers asked Kirin. This is my move. Kirin Solana agrees with the soldier and they started walking.
"Ladrak, engage their fighters!" With my command, Ladrak quickly descended from the high skies with a squadron and flew towards the Arkula. Tension built up within me. For the first time, I will meet Kirin Solana outside a battlefield. I traced Ladrak's flight until they reached Arkula's Starfighters. "Demon Eagles!" One of their pilots screamed. I smiled as I heard the fear in his voice. Nothing makes me fill with excitement than hearing the Arkula fear our presence. "Argh! What now?!" And it adds up to more fun when Kirin Solana panic!
Among the screams of the soldiers. "No! Don't be foolish! They are not just going to declare war like that!" Kirin Solana assures the soldiers. She's the foolish one, we can do anything we want, and no one will ever declare war anymore, not even them. The thought made me giggle.
"Squadron 4-9 to Base C5! We're...! Ah! They intercepted and blocked our connection to Base C5!" One of their pilots shouted. Ladrak's Demon Eagle has the gadget to do that. It is perfect for this opportunity. After a few moments, Ladrak's squadron took down some of their fighters. I speak my next command. "Ladrak, move the ground forces. Stop them from escaping but don't hurt them" I commanded him to advance his troops on the ground. And right after my words, his ground forces started to phase in and immediately moved towards the Arkula.
After a while, Ladrak's squadron almost eliminated most of their fighters. "Order them to stop resisting. I will come down to meet them" Tension went back up as I said that. Ladrak orders one of his pilots to relay the message to the Arkula. "We are very outnumbered...!" I heard one of their pilots as they begin to gather up in one place. Their remaining fighters hover above them. Seeing that the ground is secured by Ladrak's forces, I stood up from my seat and starts to phase myself down there.
And in the blink of an eye, I appeared between them and Ladrak's soldiers. Their expression went dark as soon as they saw me. I carefully eyed them as they eyed me. I can feel like the people with her haven't seen a Narukh'za at least once in their life, even the woman who shares the same appearance as a Narukh'za. which was odd. After confirming the Narukh'za woman, I turn my eye to Kirin Solana.
"My name is Karuga Irthan'nu, Second Loyalist of the Narukh'za and I was tasked to give you a message for your precious leader, Lonara" My plan was to pretend that I have come to send a message from Lord Kantala. Kirin Solana and her people listen carefully. "It's about time they showed up and introduce themselves, huh..." This soldier obviously never fought during the active wartime.
"As you may have known, We desire to invade the Planet Earth. They have the resources and materials for our military. We want those, Arkula. The Earth will make us strong!" I clenched my fist. They gasp as they heard the word 'invade'. "Kryok is still under threat from the Zakana, Narukh'za! You can't just invade planets and leave your own kind here!" Kirin Solana shouted to me. "Did I say, we will leave?" Leave my own kind? Everywhere you go, the Narukh'za is there. "We have the forces to invade the Planet Earth and we have enough forces to drive these Zakanas away" I stated.
"We are more vast than you think we are, Arkula. We have been striking from the shadows this whole time and the Founder decided it's time for us to show ourselves..." What I said was right. During the active wartime before, Lord Kantala discourages continuous appearances of the Loyalists to the enemy. "What a surprise..." Kirin Solana replied. She is smiling, but I can tell she's very angry inside. She amused me.
"I also have enough power to take down several of your bases from these regions. So I suggest you listen to what I say and what I want, and the Narukh'za will never bear their fangs on you" I kept threatening them. Just being hostile to the Arkula, especially to Kirin Solana, brings me immense joy. I realized that I'm getting into this too much. "Yeah, whatever you say. Straight to the point now, missy" ...Missy? Anyway, the moment I was waiting for has come, her expression changed, losing her cool. "The Coordinates. We want the coordinates for the portal. Simple as that. Give us the Coordinates and there will be no war between us. Coordinates or your lives..." "I suggest you give them up because either way, we will get our hands on them if you don't anyway. So save your life" I threatened them with war. It was just very effective!
"Huh?! You already had the portals?!" Kirin Solana just realized that. If we had no portals, we wouldn't be asking for coordinates. "Why, yes. We can do everything on our own too. We stole them from the Krygstek and secretly built our own. We dived into a few Universes, but the planets we saw are empty and not a single resources exist. It was perfect for our expansion, but the lack of resources is disappointing" It is true that the planets we found are not as good as Earth. "We were about to stop until we learned about the Planet Earth. They are as well in chaos, killing each other, power-hungry leaders, slaughters, wars and crimes! They are perfect to become our slaves!" I can feel my face filling with happiness.
We were about to abort until we learned about Earth. Even its dwellers resemble what we have been trying to prove to the Arkula. These people will make perfect warriors. Enslaving them must be ecstatic, and the Loyalists will kill for the right to rule the barbaric beings. "They know how to fight! They are warriors just like us! They should know the greater kinds and kneel before the Narukh'za!" Just thinking about is enough for me to be sent into a blissful state. "If they are warriors like us, then don't you think we should treat them like one?!" Before Kirin Solana can blabber more, I grabbed her. I heard them gasp and their weapons being readied.
"They ARE warriors but they don't have the right to stand equally with OUR kind for they are the lowest of all!" No other kind is above OURS! It seems like the Arkula even refuses to take pride in that fact! "Then we will make them so they stand 'Equally' with us and make them help us fend off the Zakana! Think it right you damn Narukh'za!" Kirin Solana shouted that nonsense. After calming myself, I looked at her. "...You never change" I said to her before throwing her to the ground. She fell on her back.
"That will never happen. They have life spans, to begin with. Their properties are made of stones and woods, same goes for their weapons. No flying vehicles either. They are not using their precious resources with full potential! They think little and we are going to come there to help them become strong under our influence" That's right. The dwellers of the Earth are rather pathetic. Despite the resources they had, they live in their home, and defend themselves, with buildings and weapons built with shameful materials. Their technology is just far too behind compared to us. Kirin Solana's ideas are not happening.
"Now, give up the coordinates or these sands will be your graves" "And let your bodies be eaten by the Zakana instead of decomposition" Ladrak's soldiers threatened the Arkula with me. I laughed along. "Well? What is your choice, Arkula?" I asked them. "I have a name, sweetheart. My name is Kirin Solana. Burn that into your minds" I KNOW YOUR NAME WELL ENOUGH!!! Though the soldiers with her don't know me or my history with Kirin, so I played a part. "So your name is Kirin. I will surely remember that. I saw you many times at battles and I thought of you as a useful pawn. But it appears you are a Commander" I pretended that I have never met her in my life for the fun of it.
"Yeah. And sad to say, we don't know the coordinates ourselves. We are just recruiters-" LIES!!! She laughs at me while she LIES!!! "Don't lie to me, Arkula! I know all of you know the coordinates!" I can feel my blood boil. "Didn't I tell you that I have a name? Only with the highest authority can only know the coordinates personally" MORE OF YOUR HORRIBLE LIES!!! "You lying scum! All of the People of the Kryok knows about you and Lonara!" I shouted to THAT LYING SCUM!!!
I needed to calm myself. I took a deep breath. "Curse be in your life, Kirin!" I cursed her name under my breath. As if the situation wasn't bad enough, I heard multiple Arkulan vehicles approaching our position. "My lord! Arkulan convoy in sight!" One of the Demon Eagle pilots warned me of an incoming enemy formation. "We're not done yet, Arkula. I will be back for you" I said and I glared at her people.
My eyes stopped on the blonde woman. Our gazes met and she was shaken to the core. The yet ANOTHER BLONDE child hides behind her, peeking at me from behind. I have my own hatred towards golden hairs. But now's not the time to think about it. I looked back. "That's it! Phase out!" I commanded them to disappear from the ground. They all phased out together and disappears before me. Ladrak's squadron has pulled back and I was the last one to leave the Arkula behind.
I phased back to Siszha and sat on my seat. "One of their... Loyalists have talked to Miss Kirin" I heard one of them reporting what has happened back to their base nearby. "Where somehow, the leader herself stays" My words came out loud. It was perfect timing for me. Not only do I get to test Kirin Solana, but the leader of Arkula herself, Lonara Hamarya. "Squadron 4-9, Shuttle 14. This is Conv-" I turned off my screens, interrupting the Arkulan soldiers reporting. I was satisfied with this day. I flew back to my fleet and returned Siszha to my Great Bastion.
