Lesker discovered they were looking at him with dropped jaws and he chuckled. The pants he wore before were burnt off and he was dressed in bright red attire. He caressed his forehead and he could vaguely feel the golden flame there.
"I suppose you're wondering who I am?" he said in a voice that was unlike the one they were used to. The three gave a slow nod.
"Well, my name is Lesker. I'm the deity of knowledge and a heavenly human"
"A....heavenly human?" Leioni said in tremendous shock. She staggered and it took Aiyla to bring her back up.
"What's a heavenly human?" AIyla asks in confusion.
Lesker smiles and the three of them collapse to the floor, their magi and body in serious strain. They could barely raise their eyes to look at him, his eyes bursting with the color of the skies.
"The history records read, three celestials were created. The dragon, lord of the skies, the Siren, lord of the sea, and the nine-tailed fox, lord of the land. The fact is, four celestials were created, the fourth being the heavenly human, lord of flames. The dragons are said to be in possession of the eternal flames but what they possess is the heavenly flames. The flame on my forehead is the eternal flame.
The servants of the heavenly humans are the mortal humans but humans are such prideful creatures either heavenly or mortal so the records of the heavenly humans were erased. It was the tactic agreement between heavenly humans and mortal humans.
The spell I created was supposed to show me who I am and where I come from. You should imagine my surprise when I landed on a desolate snowy mountain. But, looking at my memories, that seems to be a very important place.
Mage Leioni, that's enough knowledge to pay you back, right? Oh, I have a codex here. I'll just give it to you" Lesker says and a large black book floats out of his hands from thin air to Leioni. It lands on the space in front of her. The pressure is lifted from all of them and she shakily takes the codex into her hands while she fervently tries to circulate her magi. It flows faster than before, stunning her.
"I will compensate you for the ruined bed and construct a much better barrier. Does that sound good?"
"It is more than adequate your excellency"
"Okay, let's go. She's waiting for me"
"She?" Aiyla asks.
"Yes, my lovely tyrant of a wife. You should totally be terrified Aiyla. She seems to be jealous of you. She's also a celestial by the way"
Aiyla shivered and hid behind Bruon.
"I'm kidding" Lesker says, seeing her like that.
They walked back towards the greenhouse Pavillion. The people who say Lesker did a double-take but couldn't look him in the eye again. The man in question was trying to reign in his aura which was going wild for being unused for so long.
Inside the pavilion, there sat a man. It was the same one who Lesker saw at the inn. Then, he did not know his true identity. Now, he reigns in his urge to laugh. Getting close to him, he went on one knee, took his unoccupied hand, and kissed it.
"My love"
The man's response was to give him a swift kick on his chest. There was no way he could've avoided it so he took the hit. He fell not quite far and he was back on his feet, wiping his mouth and cleaning his body.
"I know you're mad but I've found what I'm looking for, well, half of it"
The man's eyebrow raised and he kept drinking his tea.
"And I also know a suitable outlet for your anger~~~~"
"Oh? Tell me more" he finally said, the teacup disappearing in his hand.
"You know, a man's stature fits you perfectly. You are so handsome. I'm willing to be your wife"
"Why are you flattering me? You think you still won't get punished?"
"I think I have been punished sufficiently. I couldn't get to see our children grow up" Lesker hung his head.
"That's your fault, not mine. There's a god rapidly approaching this place. Did you call it?"
"No. Let's see what the god wants"
Lesker finally remembers his audience.
"This is my wife, Kohra. Kohra, that is the mage supreme that aided me in unlocking my memories....."
"I know who she is. Since you left with a very weird spell, I settled in here and wanted to see if this place is livable. I bought a villa just down the street. The conversation rate was too annoying. You have to set up trade routes among all continents"
"Yes ma'am. That's S-Class adventurers Aiyla and Bruon. They're Ilan's family. Can I trouble you to take them to see Ilan? Please"
"Sure, whatever. You better have a good explanation for this"
"Aw I love you" Lesker said cheekily and tried to kiss her. She evaded swiftly and gave him another kick. This time he was prepared and it didn't shake him. He knew he deserved it.
"That flame on your forehead, are you...?"
"I am. Can you help me trap it with chaos? It's giving me a headache"
"Alright" Kohra replied softly. She put her finger on both sides of his temple and released her chaos magix into the boundless force inside his head. Lesker's body shook and tried to reject the foreign force but the force was gentle and healing, making him relax. The chaotic flames that wrecking his soul finally calmed down when they were trapped. Lesker heaved a sigh of relief.
"Thank you"
She retrieved her hand and nodded.
