Groaning in pain Damian slowly opened his eyes, having to squint because of the brightness of the room. Standing to look around, he observed he was in a all white room that seemed endless yet small at the same time.
He spotted a figure standing in the distance and started walking towards them as the figure became clearer.
Damian stopped a couple meters behind the figure as he spoke "hello Hope or should I even call you that anymore Miss"[said Damian after the figure cleared and revealed the elegant and sensual robed lady that saved him]
"how long did you know boy"[asked "Hope"]
"I had a couple ideas but I wasn't completely sure but thanks for clearing up any last doubts I had"[replied Damian with a smirk]
"fufufufu do you hate me boy?"[asked "Hope" while chuckling]
Damian didn't answer immediately as countless images started flashing through his mind from his first life. Before he started to speak.
"there was a boy that used to spend his days in blist with a smile always on his face playing with his little sister unaware of the darkness in this world. Until one day, the boy came home from school to find one of his uncles friends forcing himself on his little sister, as she sobbed and cried out for help as the man laugh as he ripped her clothes from her body. The boy attacked him and had to break a vase over his head to stop him from trying to assault his sister"[ said Damian in a nostalgic tone as he clenched his fist so tight his fingers bled]

After her got out of the hospital he came to my house and cried assualt after claiming that my 9 year old sister seduced him.Causing my father to be demoted and that became the first stain on my families name just because that man's father had the judge and my father's superior in his pockets hahahahaha"[said Damian]
"what happened to the boy?"[asked "Hope"]
"from that day he started to mature and notice the dark side of this world he called home and he promised himself to get strong enough to never lose anyone and to protect his family. Years passed and times got harder for his family after his father's demotion and at the hands of his father's enemies but they still managed to survive with the help of one of his father's comrades in arms before they had no choice but to bow his head and serve his "friend". And things started getting better and their family regained they former prestige and even soared in strength, everything was looking up."
"one day the boy was on his way home from school only to find his house burning to the ground and a crowd stood in the distance and watched. "so you ask me if i hate you "Hope"? no I do not."[replied Damian as he stared at her back ]

"because you have power, because you're strong enough to do whatever you want and disregard anyone's complaints. Why would a Dragon care for the woes of an ant."[said Damian as his eyes started glowing intensely]
"so I won't complain, I'll gain the strength to show you and anyone who dares stand in my way how it feels to be the ant. And if i need to rule this world to protect what I hold dare, THESE LANDS AND HEAVEN SHALL BOW BEFORE ME"[ roared Damian as the tattoo on his chest glowed]
"fufufufufufu you? don't make me laugh boy, make claims like that when no one dares fo offend you"[said "Hope" in obvious disdain]
"we both know you don't believe that"[replied Damian after calming down]
"hahahahaha" [ "Hope"having none of her earlier elegance]
"if you believed I'd always stay an ant you wouldn't have stopped me from breaking into Spirit Connection and we wouldn't be having this conversation"[replied Damian as he walked closer]
"fufufu you seem pretty intelligent for someone who acts so dumb most of the time"[said "Hope" ]"what do you wanna know boy"[said "Hope as she turned to face him]
"what's your name, what is this "system", what is with this tattoo and who do you want me to save?" [asked Damian after comtemplating]
"my name was Akeno but now it's Hope fufufu, idk, you know as much about it as I do, I'm learning about the same as you, ii couldn't gain control over it even after integrating my souls with it"[replied Hope]
"....it's....a curse, from the time you broke into the Spirit Connection Stage you'll only have 2 years to live unless you save the person"[replied Hope hesitantly watching his expression]

what? where you expecting me to freak out and get all hysterical? hahaha after dying once, death isn't something scary anymore"[replied Damian"
Hope was dumbfounded for a while because of his reply before smiling and wondering why she didn't want him to hate her before shaking the thought away
"the person you have to save is the princess of my empire, you're to weak to know anything else boy"[said Hope in a melancholic way]
"tch.....how strong do I need to be to save her?"[asked Damain after getting hardly anything from her]
"you need to he an earth core to be able to save her"[replies Hope in a serious face]
A change finally appeared on his face as he frowned.
"fufufu boy what's wrong are you scared? I thought the heavens would bow before you" [said Hope not bothering to hide her disdain before she waved him away before he could reply]
"you need to hurry boy, for both our sakes"[murmured hope]
Damian shot up and grumbled as he started at the halberd with new found determination.
