Deci and I arrived at a thick steel door. There was a scanning panel on the left, which deci placed her hand on. After about a minute there was a soft green light from above the door.
It slides open to reveal a dark room. As they enter, the lights come on to reveal what the darkness was hiding.
Multiple pipes and thick cables running into the walls and floor. There were a few computers with monitors running code, connected to the cables.
My eyes followed the cables from the computers to the center of the room. Three cylinders had been joined together with cables connecting the Three. Two of them were behind the third which had a large access panel.
"Go ahead Demo", says on the monitor here that all the tests and calibrations are done" Deci says to me while looking at the screen of one of the computers.
The large access panel opens with a loud Hiss as it depressurizes. As I pull the door open I see that there are 3 large cushions within the cylinder each with 6 pins holding them in place.
I get in and pull the door closed as I settle myself in. There is another hissing sound as the chamber seals itself. I glimpse around and see what looks like silver circles scattered throughout the chamber.
There is a whirring sound as something outside the chamber is moving. The sound of something sliding into place and then locking. Suddenly sparks of black and white energy begin to jump from each of the silver circles.
They get stronger and stronger until there is a constant flow of energy. I start feeling like I'm being torn apart and put back together at a cellular level. As if two separate forces were fighting over me.
I notice that the energy is flowing into me and that the pain is slowly fading away. I was starting to lose consciousness, everything was starting to fade. I tried to fight it, but it was no use.
Everything faded to black as I saw the last of the energy vanish into my body and passed out.
I start waking up as I feel myself being placed in some kind of chair. I blink as the lights are a bit strong at first but my eyes slowly begin to focus.
I look around to see that I am sitting in a room with light gray metal panels. Scratches and burns and such covered almost every square inch of the walls, ceiling and floor.
As I continue to look around the room I see a thin middle aged woman; seemed to be in her mid to late thirties. Her eyes were a murky dark green, they had her wearing light gray sweatpants and sweatshirt. Her hands were locked inside of a mechanized metal block.
Her skin was a dark tan color, and her hair was a dirty blonde with electric blue highlights. She was barefoot on the steel floor of the large room we were in.
I can hear the sound of metal sliding as the door closed behind me and a voice came over the intercom.
"Alright let us begin the test between convict 609 and Demo. You may go all out and restraints will be released" the speaker clicked off as the metal block that contained the woman's hands beeped and fell to the floor open.
She massaged her hands and wrists and as she stretched and flexed herself at the same time.
"So..." 609 started while continuing to stretch.
"You're the new toy huh".
