At this moment, a grim figure came in the dining hall. The youth was holding a long sabre as he walked inside the dining hall. Without saying a single word, he went past Knave's group.
"Senior Disciple Shaun! It's actually senior disciple Shaun, he's back.!"
Seeing this youth come up to the hall, everyone grew excited as they all began to call out his name.
With each whisper, they grew ever louder until they eventually began to make the entire hall filled with their voices.
At this moment, there wasn't one single person that was paying attention to their food; there was only one topic in their mind and that was that youth.
"This Senior Disciple Shaun is so famous! Where did he come from?" Knave wondered in amazement?
"You don't even know Senior Disciple Shaun?" Ross asked.
"It's because I just entered the academy." Knave said.
"Right, right, I forgot you were a new student. My memory is truly not that good, I had assumed everybody would know Senior Disciple Shaun and forgot that you, Knave was a new student." Ross quickly said as he didn't want to meddle in his entry matter.
"Tell me about this Senior Disciple Shaun, won't you?" Knave said.
"Of course. All of us younger generation know very well the stories of Senior Disciple Shaun's." Ross watched as Senior Disciple Shaun had gone to the second floor, while Knave was intrigued by such a famous person that could have such a reputation.
"Knave, it is not that I am trying to brag, but it is not surprising that I know of Senior Disciple Shaun's stories. Not only I, but also some of the older generation know about him as well. It was like…" He trembled in excitement and started to tell Knave about Senior Disciple Li's accomplishments.
He spoke in such high spirits that spit and saliva flew everywhere, as though he were reciting a heroic legend. Even Manuel who would have almost ridiculed him for such behaviour just stood there and kept nodding his head listening to those stories.
Hearing Ross talk about Senior Disciple Shaun's past deeds made him seem a bit like a mythical character.
This Senior Disciple Shaun had come to the academy 4 years ago, so he naturally wasn't of the same generation as Knave or his sister.
At the time, he wasn't able to pass a trial and became a high ranking disciple in the outer ring.
But, half a year later, he had ranked first at everything he tried for and had even pitted himself against the Senior Disciples.
He had won against 30 other people, completely breaking the record for the examination tests and gaining the attention of the higher elders.
Afterwards, what had shocked people the most was that his spiritual roots were only of average 3rd quality, meaning his growth would be limited.
His diagnosis had made everyone pity him, and no elder was willing to accept him as a disciple.
After 2 years of practising fundamentals, he still remained as a regular sect member who practised a common form of spirit arts.
The Reality energy Manual was a fairly standard style within the middle-ranking disciples of the academy.
Senior Disciple Shaun was a legendary figure, but was also said to have a strong start and would have a weak end.
In the end, he could only rely on the unremarkable Reality Energy Manual and show off to the later generations, who would be more easily impressed.
Recently, he had ranked first in a tournament among 16 disciples, causing him to yet again be the focal point of attention.
At every single competition, Senior Disciple Shaun was incomparably strong and unstoppable. Not only did he rank highly each time, but he had given face to the lower disciples.
