Chapter 67 - 67

Recently, he had ranked first in a tournament among 16 disciples, causing him to yet again be the focal point of attention.

At every single competition, Senior Disciple Shaun was incomparably strong and unstoppable. Not only did he rank highly each time, but he had given face to the lower disciples.

At the last year's competition, he had ranked 3rd among veteran disciples who had been in the sect for over ten years. Although he was a lower-ranking disciple, not only was he strong, he was around 15 years old.

Many disciples had even thought that if their shackle was at the same level as Senior Disciple Shaun, then getting first place in tournaments would be a cinch.

Senior Disciple Shaun accumulated a fearsome reputation throughout the mountains by entering many different outer sect events.

Even among the new disciples who were still diligently practising their manuals, he had gained enough fame throughout the Flood Dragon Academy that his name was not unfamiliar.

Among cultivators, he had earned the title of "Swift Blade Shaun". It was even rumoured that he was allowed into the Second Level of the Manual room and was able to learn even more profound cultivation techniques.

After hearing this, Knave couldn't help but feel wary of such a person. If what everything he had heard was true, then this Senior Disciple Shaun was truly someone to be admired and feared.

To have the status that of a secret disciple, meaning that he had failed the initial examination, yet having this much success, one couldn't help but admire him.

Right when Knave was in his thoughts he saw another person enter with a blade on his back.

"Who is this person?" Knave asked.

"That's Zack Snyder, the disciple of the 5th elder, practitioner of the Flying Willow Sword Art which is hard to deal with," Manuel said looking serious.

Hearing this Knave took a closer look, as he was interested in the flying sword arts.

After hearing his description he looked at the blade on his back, his long blade swayed to the side as it followed a chain of words linked to it.

If one looked closely the sword that looked big seemingly had an additional 9 blades stuck with each other to look so huge.

This person was very vigilant despite having such measures, the sword seemed to be floating through the air in a way that seemed like a perfect defence.

"And how does it fare against Senior Disciple Shaun?" Knave asked.

"He is definitely not an opponent for Senior Disciple Shaun," Ross suddenly said proudly.

"From what I have heard, he has challenged Senior disciple Shaun to fights in the arena twice but he lost both times.

The first time he lost he could still put up a fight against Senior disciple Shaun, but the second time he couldn't even take one strike from Senior disciple Shaun and was thrown out of the ring.

From that day onwards there was some type of grudge born between them and whenever Senior disciple Shaun comes back from his missions, he will cause him problems." Manuel explained with an angry tone.

'It looks like not many people like this Zack' Knave thought.

"Why doesn't Zack ask someone who can at least has a chance against Senior Disciple Shaun to take his revenge?" Knave asked puzzled.

Wasn't it what most of those third-rate villains would do. This was supposed to be this way or at least what he had read and seen in his past life.

"Haha! Zack is their most amazing contender. None of the other disciples in the outer ring are able to beat Senior Disciple Shaun; it's just that he has the best chance of doing so and anyone else is no good." Ross began to laugh at the other side's misfortune.
