Chereads / The Immortal Rogue / Chapter 65 - 65

Chapter 65 - 65

"Maroon Fungus" hearing this both Ross and Manuel showed a puzzled look. It was very likely that they have not heard about it.

Considering Ross he might have not even become a beginner apprentice alchemist. So, him not knowing was within Knave's scope of thought but even Manuel giving the puzzle look made him come to a realization.

As the books in the elder's collection, we're something that not even the Academy had it was no surprise that they had not heard about it.

They might have not even used or seen other use such a herb so it was natural for them to be puzzled.

"Listen, it's maroon in colour grows in a..." slowly Knave started giving a description of how Maroon fungus looked and where it grew to see whether they had seen or heard of it.

But even after explaining it for quite some time both of them still had the same confused looks.

Not minding the result of his efforts going down the drain he said, "It's ok if you both don't know. Just try to find me this herb if possible, within this month if possible."

Knave said after giving them a low chuckle. As if, this matter didn't really matter that much and then continued his journey towards the dining hall.

Behind him even though the duo had heard what he said and understood that this matter might be of not much importance to Knave.

But to them who were trying to solidify their bond with Knave, this was unacceptable to them if they were not able to bring the herb that he needed in a small amount of time.

After Manuel and Ross gave each other an affirmative nod they followed behind Knave.

Even though they didn't share a word it was because they had both been brought up in a clan they easily understood their indications in this matter.

From this, they knew that they would try all their connections to get the herb that Knave wanted and present to him when they got it. They would try every method they could use to get this herb.

It didn't take long for them to reach the dining hall. The hall was as boisterous as ever and they could see a lot of people sitting and eating a variety of delicacies but today was not the day that they would have to wait in line to eat.

They went towards the stairs which led to the first floor. On their way to the stairs, many eyes which were on their own food started to turn towards them.

It was not that they had not seen people go to the first floor before as most of the elder's when they came to the dining hall for their lunch once in Blue Moon would always head towards the first or the second floor.

As for the disciples, it was mostly the disciples who came from major clans or those that we're in the top ranking of the outer ring would enter the first floor.

But the people in the group of three were were not someone that they have seen in the top rankings before.

As for them being part of the clan, it was a matter that they have no say in. If they were to count the number of disciples who were from the clans, they would take about a third of the total number of disciples in the academy.

Every clan had the right to send the people with cultivation talent to their affiliated Academy to increase the number of cultivators in each Academy.

This was one of the ways the Academy's had used after the beast tide to increase the number of cultivators in the Academy.

Other than this they would also set some kind of admission area in each city that was under their control for this purpose.
