Seeing that his inner emotions we're getting out of hand Manuel took a deep breath to calm down and looked at Knave again with a deeper understanding.
After taking some time to contemplate what was going on he came to a conclusion which may seem rather ridiculous to himself for why such thoughts came to his mind.
And the answer was that he was tired. Yes, he was tired of all this scheming and manipulation from behind peoples backs and getting what he wanted.
It was not that he didn't like it when his planning worked, it was just that what was the point of winning if you celebrate it alone.

Manuel went up himself to see Knave out of his abode, after seeing him go past the restrictions of the high tier outer section Manuel came back to his room and sat down.
After some time of silence, he took out some more snacks out of his pouch and went into deep thought while munching on them.
The guy at the side knew after seeing that his master was in a deep contemplation. After all this year's of being under him, he knew his master's old habit. So, he just stood there in silence without making any noise.

After the meeting with Manuel, Knave didn't have anything to do for the day as the elder had already told him why he wanted to take him as an assistant.
