When Knave came out of the room he could see that the crowd had thinned out quite a bit, it would seem that after seeing that the Elder had gone out of the room nobody was willing to waste time put there any longer.
Not minding the glares from the eyes of the crowd that were on him he went on his way to his abode.
But before he could go down the stairs a guy suddenly stood in front of him blocking his way.
Thinking about what he had done in the morning Knave thought that the guy had come looking for a fight, but Knave was not a coward to shy from a fight.
As he was getting ready to fight the guy while observing around for any ambush, the guy in front of him started to speak, "Sir, my Young Master would like to talk with you about what had happened in the morning. So, would you please give me some of your time, otherwise, my Young Master would be very angry and I would get into trouble." The guy spoke very courteously.
Listening to this Knave was quite relieved, to be fair enough even though he wouldn't shy away from a fight he didn't want to reveal his strength right now as he was trying his best to keep a low profile.
"Who is your young master?" Knave asked, as he thought that even though in the morning other than the fat guy who had come in front of him with an arrogant air he didn't particularly harm anybody, but it might be that somebody else was interested in his relationship with the Elder and wanted to talk to him. So he wanted to clear it out.
"It is Young Master Manuel, he is the one who advised you so as sir would not be harmed in the morning before you entered the room." The guy said.
Even though he had twisted the facts quite a bit, but it was to be expected as he couldn't speak badly about his master.
Listening to him Knave was finally sure that this guy Manuel who had spoken to him in the morning at least didn't want to escalate the matter.
Otherwise he would have not only send one guy but a group to attack him, but he had only said this one guy indicating that he was trying to mend their relationship.
Thinking about it, Knave thought that such a guy who could have people running around for him should be rich and with connections so that he would prove to be of help for him in the future.
So, making friends with him now rather than enemy would be better, as for the small incident that had happened in the morning he didn't even consider it, because such things will happen quite a time in somebody's life when he was walking towards a higher position.
So, if he started to fight everybody who was a little unreasonable and didn't know when to speak he would have to fight almost half the world.
So it was better to have good relationship rather than bad, thinking it through he, "Okay, then take me to your master."
Hearing that Knave had agreed to follow him to meet his master the guy was grateful, bowing towards Knave he started to show the way to Manuel's abode to Knave.
It didn't take them long to reach the High-tier section of the Outer ring, this was the place where most of the Elites in the outer ring stayed.
These guys were the ones who would enter the inner ring after they had enough contribution points.
So, it was only a matter of time for them considering this they were highly valued by the academy.
Seeing that Manuel stayed in such a place Knave knew that the guy was actually quite powerful himself.
After reaching the abode of Manuel they enter after the guy had knocked and received the permission to enter. After entering Knave could see that the place was decorated luxuriously.
There was a King sized bed that was present in a room taking half of the space. The cabinets around the rooms where of Ironwood which was quite precious and was mostly used as a protective measure to store important objects by cultivators.
Other than that he could see a Alchemy furnace which look quite expensive and was being used by Manuel who was currently performing Alchemy.
So as not to disturb him the guy made a gesture towards Knave to sit down on one of the chairs in the living room and make himself comfortable.
When Knave sat down the guy went into the kitchen and after sometimes he came back with some snacks and drinks.
