Chapter 51 - Encryption

The two, Justin and Tasia, was feeling all fresh and better, powerful even, yet the other one, Elliot, was depleted out of energy.

"Are you really okay? You just supplied two 'cores' with your own..." The concerned voice of Justin asked Elliot, as they were going back to the castle.

Elliot just a while ago explains the Core Enhancing concept to them, of what is a core and how can you amplify your magic by enhancing yourself. Justin easily understood it, while Tasia...they don't know really.

Though yes, it was pretty complicated, how it connects simple magic to wandless spells, while also enhancement of body foundation, the controls of energy through the energy extremity. They were told to keep it a secret of course. It's too big to be revealed to the Wizarding Community.

"By the way, how come you even know this stuff? Read it in a book or something?" This time, Tasia asked and Elliot had a few relief, as her asking a question means at least she understood a part of it.

"My... erhm, 'adopted father', he's a wizard, that's why I know a lot of things," Elliot smiled innocently arriving at the corridors, thankfully, no professors and the filthy cat around wandering.

The two nodded as it pretty much makes sense.

"So everything you told us before.. was a lie?"

Tasia asked as she remembered how Elliot was always ignoring every questions regarding about his current life back then at the orphanage. Them actually face-palming themselves gullible to believe such things.

"Practically, yes, but needed, I mean, I will still lie to you if you guys are Muggles, magic are important shits, it's not a thing to be fooled around," Elliot answered reasurringly.

But between them, Justin was pretty unsatisfied with the information. Like, there's something wrong, or something needed to be added more. Scary ching his temple pushing his glasses above his nose.

"Enough about me, you guys should not give a word about 'it', tomorrow same place same time still, probably everyday though....Do not tell a word. Close or not, even to the twins." Elliot was stern as he silently exclaimed at the two, who snorted fed up with it.

"We know we know, youre probably strong to the point you can kill us immediately anyway, now please, if you will excuse me, I'm hungry as hell," Justin made a bit of an eye roll, his lips thin with a slight smile, grabbing the books Tasia was holding as he goes off to the stairs for the Ravenclaws Tower.

Elliot looked at Tasia, who shrugs off. She gave him his books back too as she speaks, "By the way, when you said tomorrow, 'same place same time', does that include the morning work out too?"

Elliot was bit puzzled, "Uh, yeah, but we will still do morning exercises at the training grounds, and by evening comes, we will workout again but in a higher level, as Profs would be suspicious of us if we do such high level things in the training grounds."

Tasia had a sigh of relief, as the boy looked at him.

"Why you ask? I invited other my friends to come along with us every morning, they've been wanting to meet you," She answered innocently like it's just a small matter. Elliot 'wow' - ed disbelief in him.

"Are you serious?" He asked as he looks incredulously at Tasia. Only for a growl of her stomach sounding in, as she hurrily got out of the scene. Smiling mischievously.

The boy sighs as he grabbed his book in his arms, checking the notes in the front page for the remainders of what to do. Noticing after spending time with the two, he didn't do any single assignments.

'oh.. so that's why everyone was packed up in the potion room earlier'

Well, knowledge is really power. He can do any of these before he sleeps. Except for the potion, but that can be tomorrow as there's no Potion class. But anyway, one thing is somewhat different from the above list. potio - element - exordi.

Yeah, he heard that little shit back at the forest. When he was carrying the two in his back like a mad man, as the faint voice of whisper shivered him through his way out of the Forbidden Forest. But he does know why, where, and how did that happened. His guess back then was that, it's just some animals making fun of him.

But that guess was destroyed as his head remembered something. it striked a familiarity. Was it something that he read before? Heard? He already checked his diary, and not anything like that is listed there, as again, all names are just laid back and simple, reflecting his masters character. No other languages so at all.

And he's the type of person that doesn't ignore guts.

It's too weird yet also familiar to ignore.

He means, potio can be potion, and element.. well element, but exordi? What the hell is that? And anyway, it's actually pretty a pretty simple phrase to be included in the ancient ruins, as obviously, it's not a ruins, so searching about that in a runes book is just useless probably.

He sighs exaggeratedly, picking up his self to venture to the corridors down to the dark dungeon. It was in its usual condition as he arrives in his room seeing his roommates all together playing Wizard's Chess, both opponents losing with themselves. Elliot looked amused as he obviously can see dozens of moves that can instantly defeat the other one. Yet, they both were having a hard time.

Elliot smiled as he came in through the door where the guys noticed him, who smiled back. They were all his roommates, the three, named Franklin, Ganter, and Richard.

The three are Muggles that are really not important to what will happen to the future. The roommates are friends with each other except for Elliot. As he, who is always out in his own, might be with Tasia and Justin sometimes, and maybe also add Fred and George, didn't gave him time to get to know the three.

Elliot knows that he's pretty well known throughout the first years. His given grades for assignments and test, and application of spells and potions are always in the high marks, if not, perfect. Though he might be pretty terrible with plants, which is Herbology. But still, he earns it back through exams anyway. Most Slytherin's benefits from him, starting with his points that he always receives and also teachings he gives to other students in his free time in class, making the professors give their houses more points, others see it him being helpful, but truth, he just want his house to win and also earn good points with them. Also to kill his boredom perhaps.

You can say Tasia, Justin, and Elliot's combination is very rare and odd one. Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and then Gryffindor. Most people would consider two people from different houses normal, which the most common is being friends with your own house people, but three houses combined?

Well, coming back to reality, Elliot flip his book out to start his assignments. To have an excuse to not join in the fun with the three. Who just asked him if he wants to join. Politely declining with a good reason.

He started off with Transfiguration. Since he was too going 'overboard' with such essays, Professors forbid anymore for students to go pass the required pages. As well, they have much more students to check and checking Elliot's 8 to 10 pages of homework will be bothersome for them. Finishing within minutes of time, he started charms which he took a more longer but relatively short time.

Self study for broomstick is not needed. He's pretty happy how he's kinda cool with his broom. But Madam Hooch now is wary every time there's a flying lesson that includes him. Speaking of that, the Quidditch is sooner being anticipated by everyone, the news the Potter being the youngest seeker for years. Actually, centuries. Taking after his father, James.

Nevermind that, his roommates were asleep faster than he expected. Seemingly as it was the time for curfew now. Elliot looked at the time seeing it was always pretty late. Nevertheless, he took out the notes of remainders as he closely observe the word.

'potio..element...exordi?'

He might be pretty smart but not all when it comes to language. He doesn't have any book of any language whatsoever, sure, bit of Spanish, French, and Mandarin he can but not really things like this. Yes, he can go sneak to Hogsmeade tomorrow to buy a book but theres an entrance like passage to the other side of the village, where most shops are, that requires things such as I.D's or informations before you pass it. And if he is caught to be a student of Hogwarts, without even the week of vacation to Hogsmeade yet, oh well...

Library it is, he's not usually there as he doesn't study at all, and his priorities regarding about the library are just about how to become an Animagi, which he needs to go to the restricted section.

Thinking about it, he doesn't actually have that much to do this year. He has his Shrieking Shack now, getting to the good sides of everyone, going well, and the seven course of Philosophers Stone? The trolls, three headed dog, flying keys, wizarding chess, logic and potion, mirror of erised and finally, devil snares. Harry and his crew solved those things all by themselves, yet at the end, they didn't really get the stone did they? Leaving those things to them while stealing it in the end would be the perfect outcome. So he won't even bother making trouble for himself when in the future, it will be all solved anyway.

His inner fun personality is actually itching to 'accidentally' grab the turban of Quirell and just end the whole shit immediately.

Closing his book off, he turned off the lamp of the room going to sleep.
