His rough voice reverberated throughout the office. "Gio Tocca, beautiful indeed"
"Do I know you?" Gio curtly asked.
"You will soon." The man answered closing the distance between them.
Gio just raised her eyebrow at him and said nothing.
"I am Quince's friend and business partner" the man said observing her like he was studying every inch of her. Gio and Quince never really had a conversation about what he does for a living or how he gets his millions at the age of just 25, especially because most of the time she would only see him at the club. But clubs don't make millions. However her trust in him never wavered.
"Good for you, but he never told me about you" she took a step back to create a little distance between them "plus I don't entertain his businesses"
The man hummed in agreedment and mysteriously said "hmm but you will soon."
"Whatever" Gio hurramphed.
"Just tell him Spider is back and we will meet after the spinning ground show tonight" the man said smilling in a smile that looked more ugly than his face.
"Do I look like a messenger to you?" Gio raised her eyebrow at him again and tried to supress her fast beating heart.
He laughed and took a step to close the distance between them and said "Now I see why his crazy about you." he cupped her face with his right hand "And Nooo you are not a messenger, you are the love of his life which makes you his weakness."
Gio quickly yanked away his hand and took a step back but was backed up by the desk table. He chuckled again when he saw the stubbornness in her eyes. "See you around beautiful" he winked at her and blew her a kiss.
He turned around a whistled a song as he walked out of the office. Gio watched him from out the window as he walked towards his car in the same pace he left the office with still and still whistle-singing.
Another thug-looking man came out before the man got to the car and opened the door for him. Before he got into his car he stopped, and turned to look at Gio through the window like he knew she was watching all along. He winked and smirked; and blew to her an air kiss again.
