In the guest lounge of Zhou Man entertainment, a lady was currently half sprawled on a couch.
She was sitting on one end of the couch with her head resting on her arm which was on the armrest of the couch. A bag of potato chips lay on her stomach,occasionally, she would dip her free hand in the bag, fetch some, and then munch on them with her eyes fixated on the large TV in the lounge which was showing a repeat of a concert held earlier that week, it was a concert of an artist who just debuted and she was signed with Zhou Man entertainment. A glass of fruit juice sat on a tray which was on the glass table in front of the couch and beside the glass, there was a box of the same fruit juice.
This was a clear definition of making yourself at home,even when you aren't at home.
It was in this state that Zhou Ling, Leng Manyun and assistant Zhao met Mo Ning when they entered the lounge.
When she noticed the presence of others in the room, she quickly sprang up from her half sprawled position on the couch, accidentally sending the bag of chips flying and littering the entire place with potato chips.
She gave an apologetic smile which looked more sheepish than apologetic.
"I'm sorry for the mess, the secretary who brought me here told me to make myself at home and since I had to wait for thirty minutes or more, I had to do just that. I'm sorry, I'm rambling. "
" No don't worry about it, it's okay. " Zhou Ling said with an amused smile on her face and the other two people behind her were trying to hold in their laughter.
" I'm sorry again that I made a mess here. " Mo Ning said spreading her hands as a gesture of showing what she did to the place.
" That's not a big deal either, we can go talk in my office and someone will clean this up. Come on let's go. "
" I want her CEO Zhou. "
" Wait you what? " Mo Ning asked a complicated expression on her face. ' If I heard right, did this woman just say she wanted me?' she thought.
The expression on her face gave off her thoughts making the other three unable to hold in their laughter which in turn made Mo Ning all the more confused.
After laughing for a while and seeing her confusion, Leng Manyun then explained what she meant to Mo Ning.
"I meant, I'll manage you. "
" Oh! " Mo Ning exclaimed a look of realization and understanding replacing her initial confusion.
" I'm terribly sorry for misunderstanding your words. " Mo Ning apologized. She wondered why her thoughts would run off in that direction.
" It's alright dear no harm done. "
" I want you to know that I'm not always like this, I'm just a bit nervous that's why. I'm really sorry. "
" There's nothing to apologize for, we understand, now let's go sign your contract. "
" Sure. "
