After signing the contract, Mo Ning was quite satisfied.
In the contract, the company got sixty five percent of her earnings, while she got thirty five percent as opposed to her previous company where she got fifteen percent.
After signing the contract, it was officially confirmed that her manager was Leng Manyun. She was also given an assistant, as well as a two bedroom apartment.
When all the formalities were done, Leng Manyun posted a welcome message for Mo Ning on the company's official website. Which was then shared by Zhou Ling and assistant Zhao.
After an eventful day at the company, Mo Ning went back to the hotel to rest a little before her meeting with Zhao Weiran.
This time, she didn't forget to set an alarm in case she fell asleep while resting.
After resting for an hour, she was woken by the continuous ringing of the alarm.
She took a relaxing soak in the bathtub for up to thirty minutes before deciding that it was time to get ready.
She didn't bother to eat in the hotel, since she was meeting Zhao Weiran in the restaurant of an hotel, so she could have her fill there.
It was a perfect opportunity to freeload which she wouldn't miss.
Since it was a casual meeting between friends, she wore tight fitting dark blue jeans trousers and a loose fitting pale pink blouse. She then put her wavy mid back length hair into a high ponytail,letting it fall down her back.
She applied a rosy lip balm to her lips, put on her pink sandal, and she was all set. She carried her micro bag, put her phone and whatever she might need in it, and she was out the door.
They were to meet in a private room at the Huoshuang hotel. It was a high class hotel which had an hotel and a restaurant in one. The restaurant in turn had open tables and then private booths, it also had private rooms. The hotel and restaurant occupied a large building.
Once you enter into the building, you would be met with the lobby.
To the right, are the open tables and to the left are the private booths. Right in the middle are the elevators leading to either the private rooms on the first floor or the hotel itself from the second floor and above.
Since she was going to the private rooms, she went into the elevator and just then someone else entered.
She looked up to see a handsome man with black hair, which he left falling to his eyes which were a striking blue that left Mo Ning staring, lost in them.
Seeing that Mo Ning was staring without blinking, the person in question snapped his fingers in front of her, bringing her out of her daze.
"Did you... let's say lose something in my eyes?" He asked with a slightly noticeable smirk on his face.
He looked smug.
Even though he was usually uninterested in conversations with strangers, he didn't feel like she was a stranger rather he felt like he had known her since forever which was strange to him considering they just met.
As soon as Shen Mucheng's words fell in her ears, Mo Ning's face and ears flushed red from embarrassment.
" I'm sorry for staring, it was rude of me. "
" It's not a problem, I'm sure you didn't mean to but you were just seduced by my eyes. " He continued to tease her, his eyes twinkling, making then even more alluring.
His words made Mo Ning choke on her saliva. Like wtf!
Even though what he said was true, did he have to say it out loud.
" Hey why did you choke? You aren't even eating or drinking anything. " Shen Mucheng said while patting her back lightly. Just then, the elevator stopped with a ding.
" My stop, please excuse me. " Mo Ning said hurrying out of the elevator with a blushing face, from the man whose pats made her feel butterflies.
