Double Seventh Festival is also known as Easter Valentine's Day. Usually, on this day, couples will be watching the stars together because of the story of the Cowherd and Weaving Girl, for those who don't know about the story, it's a story about a forbidden love between the Weaving Goddess - Zhi Nu and a human cowherd boy - Niu Lang. It is a very well known legend in Chinese culture. And so is The Kingdom, here is a story about a random thing that happens in The Kingdom during the Double Seventh Festival...

"Today is Double Seventh Festival, which is also known as Eastern Valentine's day. Most importantly, today is the first date I ever had with His Majesty on this special day of the year. Yes, the first date. Believe it or not, even after we had been together for all these years, we never had a proper date before, I mean the date with just two of us, without all the royal guards. Well, it's not like he did that on purpose, but there are always several reasons that act as obstacles for us to have a proper date on this special day of the year. Our very first Double Seventh is a few weeks after he survived that deadly poison, his body is too weak to be even stand up properly, but that is the best Double Seventh I ever had with him. As for the second year, we don't even have a chance to celebrate it as that day we are having some conference with Qing's Emperor. And the coming years, he is either on quest, busy for work, or having some courtesy with The Alliance. Well, that is what I should expect when I choose to fall in love with a Ki... Nope! A God. He is always the center of all the attention and everyone needs him. And he is a very responsible person that will never leave his work incomplete. That is why he is respectable in the Kingdom and I love him, a lot."
The girl sitting on the fairy-tale-like carriage looking at her King who is sitting next to her. She didn't know where did he plan to bring her. He noticed her glare and smiled. "Rei, is anything bothering you?" he asks in a really gentle tone while holding her in his arm. "Your Majesty... Do you still remember our first Double Seventh?" She asked. Then he thought for a while. "Hmm... That day when we are having a conference with the Qing's empire and I found out that you can actually play Guzheng (an instrument) so well." said Chris with a slightly teasing tone. "And most importantly we conquered the Qing's Empire a month later, how could I not remember it." he continued. "Hmm... So he did not remember about it..." she thought but did not notice that smirk on his face.
As the carriage continues moving towards its destination, Rei noticed something weird about the surrounding, well, instead of weird, it's more like nostalgic. The street and the building at both sides of the street have some similarities to that place where she gets her heart stolen by that man who is sitting next to her. Seeing all this sight she can't help but suspecting this godly yet childish man is having some 'plans' again, although at that moment she absolutely no idea what he is planning to do.
The carriage finally reaches its destination when the sky had totally turned dark and filled with all the stars. Their destination is a traditionally styled mansion. Chris guided her to the garden, in the middle of the garden there is a plum tree that blooms the whole year despite of the four seasons. Hanged on the tree is a two-person swing. She seated on the swing with him, she was a bit surprised, all the nostalgic scenes make her wonder if he did all these by pure coincidence? But the moment she saw him trying to hold his laughter while looking up to the starry sky, she realized that he did it on purpose, this man that sits next to him clearly remembers their first Double Seventh. Knowing that she was tricked by him, she pretends to be enraged and continuously hitting him with her small and delicate fist. This move makes him burst in laughter and held her tightly by shoulder. "So, you still remember what you said before? About sitting on a swing and watching the starry sky with your family?" He asks with a rather teasing tone. Rei pushed him away and her face away but getting pulled back into his warm hug. "As if I will let you get away right now." said Chris and land a kiss on her cheek which makes her blushed.
"That day, you look out at the starry night through the window of my room and starts telling me the story of Cowherd and Weaving Girl." said Chris while looking the girl in his hug which makes her blushed more. "Mmm... That time you are too weak to even get out of your room, so I thought I might be able to entertain you with the story but you end up fallen asleep before I even finish the story." said Rei while placing her face on his arm. "Well, actually... Although I might seem to be fallen asleep, I did listen to the whole story in that semi sleepy state. And I do found that the relation of the story with Altair and Vega star is rather 'interesting'... But I don't have a chance to tell you all these years." said Chris while looking straight at one of the brightest stars at the and another duller looking star at the far south of the sky. "Your Majesty, don't tease me like that, I know I'm ignorant that time thinking the star would actually moving towards each other, but now I realized how stupid I was." said Rei. "No... It's not. You know, it is actually possible to make the star move towards each other." said Chris with a suspicious smile.
"Uhm... My Lord, are you trying to... Move the star by force?" said Rei, while slightly pushed Chris away and looking into his eyes. "Well, actually I could." said so, he raised his right hand while his left hand still holding tightly on Rei. Then his right-hand starts glowing and the two stars slowly 'moved' towards each other... That moment, people who were sharing the same sky with them had all witnessed that miraculous moment.
Rei looks at Chris, a bit startled with his deed, he noticed her anxiousness and smiled. "But of course I'm not that crazy enough to do that, since it will surely bring a big mess to the whole galaxy. I merely just adjusted the atmosphere a bit and forming an illusion that the two stars moving to each other." said Chris which Rei show an immediate relief on her face. "Hold on, that's still a bit too much, what if other people see it? What will they..." Before Rei could finish her sentence, Chris landed a firm kiss on her small and smooth lips. "I don't care what other people think, this is a moment only for you and me." said so he continued the kiss while swinging his right hand in the air, as his hand went down, a meteor flashed through the night sky and followed by a magnificent meteor shower...
The girl always knows that the man she loves is a bit childish and can be quite insane sometimes, but at the same, he is warm and dependable. And yes, she realized that he is the ideal man for all the other girls in the Kingdom and she is also the ideal girl for most of the men in the Kingdom, but she believes that she only belongs to him, and he only belongs to her. Well, at least, at this moment, they are.
