"Well, I am the owner of that record now, and it's not a really confidential case so it will be alright." said Ben. "Alright then, go ahead." said Chris.
Another Extra Extra Story - Eyes.
This was my one hundred and twenty seventh case this year, this time it's a beautiful young lady. The first time she came to my place was during the mid-summer. Despite of the hot weather, she covered herself in a thick and heavy cloak. She told me that she was having some skin problems, she said that she already visited a few different doctors before but no one can successfully heal it. At first it was just some red spots but recently it gets worse and turned into some warts like things. Then, she removed her cloak and revealed those 'warts' that covered almost her whole body except for her face.
I examined those 'warts', the center of it had a dark spot and a small slit. I have a feeling that I had seen something like this before, but I'm not really sure about it. I carefully touched the wart and felt some weird life force from it. Then I gave her some medicines that use to treat warts and told her to come back again after three days. Three days is enough to confirm if those 'wart' are what I thought they would be, but if it's really that case, it will be very bad.
Three days later, she came back again, this time, the warts had reached her face and grew into the size of marbles, the black spots in the center became more obvious than before, and the slit getting bigger. Now I could certain that it was like what I thought, I look at His Grace who was pretending to be my apprentice, he thought for a while and ask if the lady had or had been doing any bad things recently? The lady denied. He shrugged at me indicate that we could do nothing if she doesn't even realize her own sin. So we sent her back after telling her we can't cure her. After she left, His Grace told me that actually he was capable to cure the lady but it seems like she doesn't even care to cure herself, so why would he want to waste his energy and time on her? Yes, it's true, if she doesn't even want to help herself, why would we even need to help her?
A week later, we got a visit from a town magistrate said there was a lady in their town who turned into a monster and was dying, so we followed them to the town and once again saw that lady. This time her body cover with countless bloody wart that looks like human eyes that started to rot. The jewel box near her bed shows that she was a thief and robber who stole and robbed from the poor people who works hard to afford their life. Most to our horror, in her house, there's an ice cellar, and inside the cellar, there's seven and a half dead fetus that hanged nicely with hooks. Yes, seven and a half, why a half? Because the other half was in a pot of stew she had three days ago...
