There was a slight gleam coming from nowhere on the Scythe that was menacing to glance at.
Anyone unlucky to just peer at it for a moment would have their souls confused. Though I might not be powerful, the Scythe is still made out of Void Essence. Which is the most difficult Essence to refine as nobody knows where the void is located, even if they did they wouldn't be able to step into it to absorb the Essence because of the offense powers enhanced by the Heavenly Laws monitoring the void for any life forms which was why the Void Essence was so powerful as it had been tempering for who knows how long before I had come here.
I wasn't sure of how I was able to be standing here now, as I should have already been killed by the void as soon as I had arrived.
I decided to throw those thoughts into the back of mind and to concentrate on the 2nd Stage of the 'Heavenly Void Sickle' Battle Art which was 'Summoning the Scythe'. What I had to do was to draw upon the Scythe tattoo and to project it out of my body into a physical form.
After integrating the Essence and forming the scythe tattoo into my Qi Sea, the process would be considerably easier.

I decided to get on with it and to try and summon the scythe.
I stretched out my hand and willed the scythe to be summoned according the the method provided in the Battle Technique.
The scythe appeared in my hands. The pitch black scythe was cold to the touch but warmed up quick as if it had noticed it's owners touch.
The starlight on the scythe was avoiding the areas where my hand was. The scythe was about 1 and 1/2 my size, I am about 6'0" so the scythe was towering over me like the Grim Reaper and was emanating the air of a resolute follower that was ready to reap souls of the living at my will.
