The Lucis family House
"Waa!" the sound of the baby cry sounded throughout the house.
"It's a boy," said the Midwife to the mom of the baby who looked tired after giving birth.
"Let me see him," said the mom of the baby, after taking a look at the child with loving eyes she said "you look just like your dad, I wish he was here to see you but sadly he can't due to being in the frontline though he will be here by next month hopefully"
It looked like she mustered all of her strength just to say those words to the baby as she collapsed saying that, which brought panic to the midwife and the maids. After checking the mother's condition the midwife gave a sigh of relief as the mother is just sleeping due to the exhaustion of giving birth.
Who knew at that moment, the birth of this baby will shake the very core of this universe in the future alongside his companions, perhaps only the people who are well versed in the reading of destiny will notice the movement of the wheel of destiny.
1 month later
A man who looked around the late '20s or early '30s stood in front of the door looking nervous despite being well-known as the "Blazing Swordsman" who scared the monster race into retreating in the recent battle. After a couple of minutes the man knocked, the footsteps inside the house could be heard as it neared the door to open it. The maid who opened the door was delighted to see the man as she said to him "Welcome back master, the madam is waiting for you in the baby's room". The man nodded as he headed towards the room quite fast despite walking with a nervous expression with hints of anticipation, opening the door he was greeted by baby cradle in the corner of the room and brown-haired woman with honey brown eyes who sat on the rocking chair with a baby while looking happily at the man who came inside.
'I'm back Linda" said the man who had black hair and dark brown eyes.
"Took you long enough Aiden," said Linda while giving a pouting face.
"I'm sorry the batt-"
"Stop talking about the battle, look here at our adorable son," said Linda cutting off Aiden.
Aiden didn't get mad despite getting cut off because he knows how his wife will be if he gets on her bad side, chills came to him just remembering what happened. Shaking the thought off, Aiden looked towards his son with a wide smile.
"Did you decide what to name him?" Asked Aiden playing with the baby who gave him a curious look.
"Yeah, I decided to call him Cosmo," said Linda proudly.
"Cosmo, great from now own you are Cosmo Aiden Lucis," said Aiden as he held the baby high up in his hand which resulted in the Cosmo puking on him which made Linda start laughing.
After cleaning up the mess and putting Cosmo to sleep, Linda asked: "for who long are you going to stay here this time?"
"I don't know yet as we discovered the monster race is planning to open the portals to their realm. But thankfully we learned of this information beforehand as we dealt heavy damage to them that might a couple of years to recover"
" I hope that the empire finds their hideout and finish them once and for all," said Linda
"Hopefully" replied Aiden not pretty sure about the future but when he looked at his baby son Cosmo sound asleep strength raised in him as he promised himself to fight for a future for his wife and son.
The monster race, a race that just appeared out of nowhere claiming itself the king of this realm. Which in return made the human kingdoms furious, as a battle that took place for 200 years against the monster race. Until it was ended due to the rise of the human emperor as he united the kingdoms together under one ruler to fight the monster race, which defeated the monster king who was left with a heavy injury retreating to his realm with most of what was left of the army. But it was discovered later on that the monster king will come back as he left behind some of his race to hide and open a portal to this realm as the portal they opened was sealed by the human emperor.
