I guess maybe I'm not the brightest guy around but I can tell when something's off.
I was inside of a dead man's body. Who is somehow alive...Can't really blame me for being completely baffled and confused. Not to mention I was in the Middle Ages! Full of disease, lack of hygiene, and corruption.
As I analyzed the room around me I noticed it's vintage, or rather the time period, a "modern" style surrounded me. The floor was a pattern of wooden planks crisscrossing over each other. The walls were a shiny stone, with a few almost invisible cracks. The bed I was lying in was layered in three thick blankets. The first was a plaid white and beige mix. The second was a blue and red pattern. It reminded me of the British flag. The last one was a bit strange. It was sprinkled with pictures of...demons? The only thing that was somewhat reassuring was the woman who had brought me here.
She was leaning against the white window sill. She still had that irritating smirk etched onto her face. This time she looked a little more composed. Her silver hair was pulled back into a tight bun, instead of the messy one I had previously seen. She wore a white and blue blouse with a silky silver bow on the front. A long skirt covered her small legs. She looked younger. Much younger.
"Oh you're awake young master! Thank goodness,"
The butler walked into the lavish room carrying a silver tray with small china cups, filled with what I assumed was tea.
"I brought you some tea! Your favorite I might add."
I was right.
"Hey uh....what's your name again?"
Whatever this was, it was going to take some getting used to.
