Chapter 3 - How?

Feinting twice was quite embarrassing. That didn't stop me from doing it though. But I guess when the body you were placed in wasn't your own, it wasn't that surprising.

This time when I opened my eyes I saw a young woman about the age of twenty lying on my stomach sleeping. Her long blonde hair spilled over me. Her skin was a lovely cream color. Her dainty mouth was slightly open and a small bit of drool slipped though the side. I didn't bother checking what she was wearing.

I guess she was pretty. A warm glow seemed to surround her of calm and quiet. However I was never attracted to women. Even now I still felt no joy in her being there. I thought that would have changed when I switched bodies, but I guess that was not the case. Then again in this lifetime people were closed minded and unopened to change.

I sighed absentmindedly at the absurdity of it all. The woman stirred and sat up rubbing her eye. I noticed her eyes where a light blue ocean color. They seemed to sparkle as they looked at me. I knew that look all too well. After all I'd seen if many times in my own eyes. It was the look of desire, longing, and love, and not the friendly kind.

"Oh I'm sorry Lowell! I was tending to your wound and I must have...," her gaze slithered down to my waist.

When I looked down that was the first time I noticed it. A bandage wrapped around my torso and speck of red littered the middle. I guess I was slow because that when I winced and felt the pain of something pushing against my middle region. It hurt sure, but I had better things to do then play patient.

I got up out of the lavish bed and and stood. The woman immediately rushed to me trying to push me back into the bed.

"You should be resting! Everyone said you wouldn't make it! It's a mere miracle that you're still standing here! Please Lowell,"

I smiled at her, but annoyance threatened to seep into my smile. Gently I shook her off. I patted her head and walked out of the room.

As I closed the door I could feel the woman's anger, but I didn't have time for that. I needed to find out where the heck I was and surprisingly when.
