Chapter 59 - I'm the Best Evidence

"At this point, I'm too tired to go through the chat histories line by line. You guys get the idea. I also don't have the obligation to correct your perspectives and ways of running your lives. Here, the rest of her shit deeds in the past. These don't involve me as much because it's all from her empty words."

Lily stretched her fingers after passing the rest of the documents to the crowd. She looked at Meng Meng's clown face smudged with mascara and eyeliner all over her cheeks. "Meng Meng, did you finally realize what I meant when I said to beg for forgiveness when you still had the chance? Now that everyone has seen your true personality, is there anything I forgot to mention?"

"Haha, Lily Jiang, you've said all this just to prove your innocence, but at the end of the day, you're still a single unwanted dog. I've at least had the chances to hold huge balls for my past boyfriends to brag. At least, I had someone to brag about. You don't even have anyone to show off! Hahaha, you're as pitiful as what my rumors said you were." Meng Meng cried and laughed at the same time.

"Not everyone is like you. Some things don't need to be bragged about. If you were feeling good with your relationship and life, you wouldn't need to show it off or purposely flaunt to make yourself feel superior. I pity you because of how tiring your mindset weighs you down when compared to others." Lily said as she smoothed the wrinkles on her gown before standing up.

As she turned around to leave, she met Lin Que's softened expression with a smile on his face. This time, he was the one who snapped his fingers. The same waiter who brought her the chair earlier appeared with a bouquet of roses. People started whispering about him wanting to confess, but only a few people recognized his face as he disliked social events.

Lin Que took the bouquet in one hand and slipped the other in his pocket as he walked towards Lily. She smiled as her eyes laid on the handsome figure walking to her. The sweetness in her eyes couldn't be contained as the million-dollar smile melted away the iceberg aura she had seconds ago.

Seeing the priceless expression on her face stunned Aaron as he never would've imagined her making such a warm smile. As his eyes followed her gaze, he recognized Lin Que's face instantly.

Meng Meng had her eyes closed as her mascara started irritating her eyes. Therefore, she didn't know her words were getting ridiculed as Lin Que made his appearance. The red roses caught everyone's attention as it contrasted with their matching outfit.

His sudden appearance made Hawk's confidence tumble to pieces. As Meng Meng laughed, she spouted more nonsense. "You're only jealous because nobody wants you!"

Lin Que opened his mouth to speak for once, "And I am her best evidence to prove your words false."

"Darling!" Lily excitedly spread her arms after retrieving the fresh roses from him. He reciprocated and held her in his arms, "Did you have fun?"

"En. En. It was tiring, though. She has too much to say when I have nothing left to say. When I have things to say, she was rendered speechless. Sigh, if she had her mouth shut since the beginning, how great would that be? She's not following my game rules either." Lily complained into his ears as he chuckled.

Hearing his voice, Meng Meng pointed towards their direction and wiped her eyes, "You're fake! There's no way she could be dating someone without me knowing!"

"Miss. Jiang, not everyone, likes sharing their privacy the way you do. Thoseof you who had previously spread false rumors about my girlfriend will have a chance to redeem your faults if you post a public apology by midnight. If not, then prepare yourself for a lawsuit for slandering Lily by the end of the week. In addition, your company shares will plummet tomorrow morning. Ah, Miss. Jiang Meng Meng showed no signs of remorse. So, you won't be given the chance."

As soon as Lin Que finished speaking, Kevin stepped out and started summarizing Meng Meng's crimes. Even if the crowd don't know Lin Que's identity, they would not fail in recognizing Kevin as he is one of the top lawyers of all times. Even the richest people may be unable to hire him as his available time slot could range from half a year to two years wait.

Seeing this big shot dealing with Lily's matter, everyone gulped as they realized who they had offended. They couldn't bear such heavy consequences and quickly took action on their phones. Lily was tagged on at least three to four posts per person.

Intertwining their fingers together, he waited for Kevin to finish announcing Meng Meng's crimes and what she's being sued for. After that, he tilted his head towards Lily, "Let's go."

Lily was as shocked as the others in the party. Seeing her nod in a daze, he chuckled and led her out of the room. Everyone stared at the heavenly matched couple and turned their attention back to the wrecked joker of the party.

Meng Meng was completely destroyed in terms of self-esteem and reputation. When she heard Kevin's name, she thought he was bluffing nonsense. In her perspective, Kevin would not accept such small cases as he fought billion-dollar cases. Within a minute, Kevin completed his task and handed a letter to her hands. Staring at the letter with Kevin as the lawyer, she immediately searched for Lily, who had long left. She gritted her teeth and asked, "Who is her boyfriend?!"

Aaron stepped out and said, "Not someone anyone in this room could afford to offend. Miss. Jiang, you're done. Hopefully your savings are enough to fight this case."

He didn't feel sorry for her. Instead, he wanted to applaud for Lily's live slaughtering show. It was far more interesting compared to his original expectations to the party. Before he turned away to leave, Aaron had sent a gift to Meng Meng in front of the crowd.

"By the way, Miss Jiang Meng Meng. Even though you've had plenty of partners in the past, your current boyfriend is probably the lowest standard one you could ever hook up with. He's a fraud. I'm close enough with the Fu family to know their faces. I suggest you open up your eyes and see who you date. Or else, you will end up looking like a clown."

Hawk thought nobody would figure out his true identity after Lily had left, but he was wrong. Not only was he exposed, Aaron's eagle eyes shot sharp arrows through his body. He said, "Mister Hawk let me remind you to keep your eyes to yourself. Don't eye people you can't match up to."

His meaning was obvious. 'Stay away from Lily Jiang.'
