Blaise's POV
"who is it!" I shouted. "Rosa, your maid." she said. "come in!" I replied. "who's Rosa, other than a maid?" Crystal asked. "she's someone who specialises in clothing and design." I said. "Oh okay. Rosa came into the room. "sorry about my intrusion Alpha, but another Alpha is here to see you." she said. "what pack is he from?" I asked. "Moonstone Pack." she said. Hmm that little cretin. "why is Alpha Sanders here?" I asked. "he's here for his daughter." Rosa said.
"take him to my office, I'll be there soon." I said. She nodded and left. "Blaise?" Crystal asked. "yes, What's wrong?" I asked. I looked at her trying to hold back her tears. "please don't let him take me." she pleaded, holding into my shirt. I wrapped my arm around her back. "don't worry, I won't let him take you. Your my mate." I said. "you should go to your office." she said. "let's go then. Let's get changed and head to my office." I said. I didn't know what came over me. The castle I lived in when I was younger was much bigger. I needed to know fate. What did fate plan for me. I was a Lycanthrope as well as a vampire. I couldn't tell her that. Technically if Crystal died then I wouldn't die. I could quite easily live by myself. I headed to my office, ignoring Crystal. 'she's annoying, just reject her.' my wolf said in my head. Why now did I feel like rejecting her. "Rosa, gather some maids and butlers to pack all of my stuff. I'm leaving here." I ordered.
"yes Alpha." she said lowering her head. She left. She didn't dare ask about Crystal.
Crystal's POV
I waited in Blaise's room for him to return. He never did. I got my hopes up when the door opened. It turned out it wasn't him. It was Rosa and some other maids and butlers. I wondered why they were in here. "Where's Blaise?" I asked. "in his office." Rosa said. "why are you in here?" I asked. "we got strict order from Alpha Steele to pack all of his stuff." Rosa said. "wait is he leaving?" I asked. "I assume he is. He never mentioned anything about you going." Rosa informed.
Why now, did I do something wrong? Is he having second thoughts about rejecting me? I thought about all of this to myself. What if he did reject me? Is he leaving because of me? All these questions went through my head. If he was leaving for only a little while he wouldn't have all of his stuff packed. Even if he rejected me, would I still love him? I don't know.
Someone came in. The man looked at me. He looked sad. "Alpha Steele wants to see you in his office." the man said sadly. Why was he so sad? Did he know what Blaise was going to say? "okay, but do you know whats going to happen?" I asked. He nodded. "all I will say is, what ever happenes it won't be very nice. You'll feel pain, you will disappointed and empty. That all I will say." the man. "okay." I said. I followed the man to the office. I had never seen Blaise's office. We walked down a creepy corridor. The corridor had creepy red ceiling lights instead of the normal colour. Eventually we reached the end. I assumed his office was the door on the end.
Blaise's POV
I waited patiently for Crystal. She was late. I heard a knock on the door. "come in." I said. I stood with my back towards the door. Why now did I want to reject her? Would I regret it if I did? "y-you wanted to see me." she said. "I did. Your father is here, come out." I said, my back still turned. "dad, what are you doing here?" I heard Crystal say. "I'm here to take you home, home to Moonstone. Your home was never here." he said. "but I want to stay with my mate." she said. "that's what I need to tell you about." I said, turning around to face her. "what do you mean?" she asked. "I need some time alone for a while so I'm going to fuful my legacy." I said. "why can't I come with you?" she asked. "because it's too dangerous. Where I'm going, it'll scare you." I said.
I leaned closer to her so I could I whisper in her ear. "you wouldn't like it. Plus the castle that's there is my real home and my pack, the royal pack misses me." I said. It was silent for a while. "I Alpha Blaise Steele reject Crystal Sanders as my mate and Luna." I said finally. "you really are a monster. You just rejected my daughter as your mate. All you care about is your legacy and your pack, just because you are royal. You really are the man in the stories I used to read to my daughter. I don't want you to ever come near my daughter again." Sanders said. "oh my, I'll come near her whenever I want. You can't do anything about it." I said. "and why not?" he asked. "because I am royal you're not, I'm big your little, I'm strong you're weak. I'm great, you're pathetic." I spat. I couldn't belive it. Crystal bawled her eyes out.
"let's go Crystal." Sanders said. Crystal followed Sanders out my office. Finally she was gone. Just when I stood up the maids and butlers came in. "everything is packed and ready to go sir." one of the butlers said. "good, now I'm going." I said. I walked out. A black SUV was waiting for me. I jumped into the SUV. "Let's go!" I yelled. The driver drove off.
It was late in the night when I arrived at the castle. I couldn't wait to start. To fulfil my legacy.
