Blaise's POV.
It was now 6 months later. Settling in to my new role has been hard. Leaving my mate was easy. Deep down I knew I loved her but it didn't matter anymore. She's probably found another man to be with or she's still crying. All I knew about this was I was happy to be here. As Alpha of Alphas I had to fix so many things that went wrong, but I got this. I was finnaly able to be me. The real me. I felt split.
Where I sat was incredibly comfortable. It was better than the couches at my old house, and even better than the castle itself. I was just fiddling with my fingers when I heard footsteps. Without looking up I knew who it was. "What do you want Rhys!?" I shouted angrily. "U-Uh, someone's here to see you." He said. Rhys was one of my protectors. Like I needed protection. "Like who!" I shouted. Heh nice wasn't me. I was supposed to be cruel and heartless. The dumb thing was I didn't feel anything towards Crystal anymore. Could it be possible that she wasn't actually my mate. Maybe I have two mates. All of it was odd. "Uhh some girl claiming to be your mate." Rhys responded. Oh no I hope its not Crystal. "How, I haven't been out of this castle for 6 moths, since I got here." I said frustrated. "Should I let her in sir?" He asked. I nodded my head yes. The door to the throne room opened. Honestly I must've looked like a mess right now. I hadn't slept in months, yet I'm still strong. Just as the girl walked in a scent hit me. I couldn't be Crystal, could it?
I looked up. Phew, it wasn't her. It was someone else. "Hi, your majesty." The girl said bowing down. I don't say anything. She stood up. The scent was strong, Stronger than what Crystals scent was. Was this girl my real mate? Was crystal just faking it? I had to ask this girl. Did she know crystal? I had no idea. "Do you know a Crystal Sanders?" I asked vigorously. "U-um yes I do. She used to go to my old school." The girl replied. "Was she any good at faking?" I asked. "Y-yes." She replied. I look to the left of me. "What do you want?" I asked. There was a maid. "I just came to give you this. It's blood, you need it." She said. She gave it to me and then ran off. Hmm blood, why would she give it to me. I didn't really care anymore so I just drank it. "Um are you okay there?" The girl asked. Gosh I don't even have her name. I finished drinking the contents of the cup. I put the cup down. "I'm fine." I said plainly. I cut her off before she could speak. "Never speak to me unless I say!" I shouted. She nodded. I knew she was scared. Everyone was. "Apparently your here because you claim to be my mate. Is this true?" I waited for an answer. She didn't say anything. "Speak!" I ordered. "Y-yes, that's why I am here. I caught a scent and followed it. It lead to here. I knew it had to be my mate because it was different, it was strong and I mean its incredibly strong." She said. "What's your name?" I asked. "E-Estella." She replied. "Estella." I repeated. She nodded again.
Maybe she was my mate. "I'm sorry but, I wouldn't come here if I wasn't your mate. I mean everyone is scared of you." She said randomly. I knew it she was my mate. I stood up and made my way towards her. Maybe I had two mates, I didn't know. She looked scared. I looked her. Once I got as gd ar as I wanted I circled her. From what I could tell she was clean. I stood behind her. She tensed. I easily towered over her. Without realising I already engulfed her in a hug. She relaxed against me. "I'm sorry if I scared you." I said. "I-It's okay, I'm used to it." She said. I growled causing her to jump. "What do you mean your used to it?" I asked. "Well people scare me all the time. I get scared easily." She responded. "And no I didn't go ahead and date any other man. I was waiting for my mate." She added. I hugged her again. This time she hugged me back. The thing was, was I a bad person? Did I do wrong into thinking Crystal was my mate? All of these questions popped into my head.
I tensed. "What's wrong, something is bothering you?" She asked. "Don't worry about it." I said. She looked up at me. "Listen, I don't know your name but you can tell me anything. I won't tell." Estella said. "So even if it's about Crystal?" I asked. "Mhm." She replied. "Well it was Crystal who faked to be my mate." I said. "How'd she get away with that. I mean your literally Alpha Of Alpha's." She said shocked. "I know and when I visit her Pack she'll regret the day she messed with me." I said. I knew from now that the woman I stood behind was my mate. My real mate. I kissed her forehead. I knew that I wasn't nice but, this woman was my mate and I was going to be nice. I was going to give her everything.
"Can I tell you something?" She asked. "Sure, what is it?" I asked. "I love you." She said. I couldn't belive she said that. We didn't even know each other and said those words already. That's what I call a true mate. To be honest I felt happy, happier than I can even imagine. "I love you to." I said. "So the Strongest, Cruelest, coldest and most heartless man can actually say I love you." She said shocked. "Yes, of course. I'd only say those three words to my mate." I responded. I spun her around so she was looking I to my eyes. Her eyes were golden. My old eye color. Gold eyes were more rare than blue, if you could even consider blue to be rare as more people had that color.
"So is she your mate?" Rhys asked interrupting me. "Yes, if she wasn't I would've kicked her out by now and I wouldn't be hugging her." I said.
This woman was my mate and I love her. More than I have ever loved someone.
