The first night at beacon, students are splayed out in sleeping bags. Ruby, in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head, is writing in a journal when Yang crashes next to her, similarly dressed. Shirou sat near them with his leg crossed, he still wears the long, denim pants with dark blue shirt. His jacket was in the sleeping bag.
Yang: It's like a big slumber party!
Ruby: (not looking up) I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though.
Yang: Well, except for one person. (Glance at Shirou, Ruby also glance at him)
Shirou: What? Why are you two looking at me?
Yang and Ruby: Nothing…
The two said as Ruby continue writing while Yang watches several muscular, shirtless guys… and Jaune, dressed in feetie pajamas, waving to her, which make her sighed a long breath before she returns her attention to Ruby.
Shirou and Yang: What's that?
Ruby: A latter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going.
Yang: Aw, that's so cuuuute! (Knocked back as a pillow launched at her face, Shirou just calmly look and listen to their conversation, waiting if there something different again)
After a moment of conversation, Shirou and the two sister notice a candle being lit nearby, and Blake Belladonna is seen leaning against a wall, reading her book.
Shirou: [That's Blake! But Ruby didn't meet her at that place, so their line should be…] (Glance at the two sister)
Ruby: Who is she?
Yang: Don't know, she seems to be reading a book, we better not disturb her.
Shirou: [Ooh f*ck! I made a mistake! The future has been changed! This is not good, If it's like this, the RWBY Team will not be formed! I need to do something! Although I really want to change a few things, it doesn't mean I want to change the future of the four of them completely. Although Blake was feel disturbed at first, she slowly opened her heart, and then they became friends. But an unexpected thing happened…
Weiss: (Storming onto the scene in her own pajamas) What in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize that some of us are trying to sleep?
Weiss and Ruby: (Glaring at each other) Oh, not you again!
Shirou: (Facepalm and sighed) Ruby, Yang, She's right. People are trying to sleep, so let's calm down a little.
Weiss: Oh, now you're on my side!
Ruby: Brother Shirou, why did you taking her side?!
Yang: Yeah, why are you on her side? You traitor! (Tease her to him)
Shirou puzzled, he doesn't know what's gone wrong. Blake, who sighed inside, simply closes her book, and walk to help Shirou.
The next morning.
Shirou rose up at 4 AM in the morning, he walked but then stopped for a second ro see the two sister, and the other students still soundly sleep. He washed himself well in the restroom, and brush his teeth. He return, tightening the strings on his sleeping bag, and sat at his place.
Shirou: (Leaning againts a wall, looking around) [Everyone is still sleeping… hm, because there is still time, I better check my status, "Status Open".]

When taking a breakfast, Ruby and Yang approach Shirou with a plate full of food.
Ruby: Good morning, Brother Shirou. As always you wake up early.
Shirou: Morning, Yeah, its already became a habit.
After breakfast, the three walk to Locker room to retrieve their weapon. Ren and Nora who happened to have finished prepared and retrieve their weapons, walked past Shirou and the two sisters as they busy having a conversation of their own.
While Shirou readying himself, Yang stresses to Ruby how important it is to socialize with other people to grow up. When Ruby insists that she does not need help growing up, Yang bring up the recent rumor about teams being formed. Ruby nervously hope to be paired with Shirou or Yang, only to find that Yang wants her to team with someone else to break out of her shell.
Shirou who has finished preparing, keep listening to their conversation. He doesn't found anything interesting, except for Jaune who suddenly tried to flirt Weiss.
Weiss who found it irritating ask Pyrrha for help, with her responding to the latter's request for help by pinning the former to a wall with her spear.
Shirou found it interesting, because Weiss shouldn't have made contact with Jaune when they in the auditorium, but the man is still trying to talk and flirt with the tsundere princess. He snapped out, and approach to help him stand.
Shirou: (sighed and extend his hand) What are you even trying to do?
Yang: (As she and Ruby follow Shirou) Having some trouble there, Lady-killer?
Ruby: Jaune, are you okay?
Jaune: I don't understand. My dad said all woman look for is confidence! Where did I go wrong? (Accept Shirou offered hand and uses his to lift himself back up)
Yang: "Snow Angel" probably wasn't the best start.
Ruby: is that so?
Shirou: (Roll his eyes) Come on, you two, let's go.
At the Beacon Cliff, overlooking a forest, where several students are standing on sliver tiles in front of a mug-holding Professor Ozpin and Glynda with her tablet.
Soon Glynda began to inform the students that they will be given teammates today, and Ozpin announced that these partnerships will last for the for the four years duration of their studies at Beacon, stressing the importance of having a partner that they can work well with. He goes on to state that the partner will be decided by the first person a student make eye contact with after they land in the Emerald Forest.
Shirou: (Crossed arm, Calm expression) [Haa... its too long. The explanation is too long... (Looking at the forest) after I land, lets get the relic first and then...]
After a few moments of explanation.
Ozpin: …We will regard that item, as well as your standing and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?
Jaune: (raising his hand) Yeah, um, sir?
Ozpin: Good! Now take your position!
Everyone strike a pose on their tiles. But Shirou just standing calmly with his hand crossed and Jaune is still raising his hand. He keep asking meaningless questions to Ozpin until Shirou suddenly talk to him as he readies his body.
Shirou: Jaune.
Jaune: Yes?
Shirou: Just… be prepared. (He said as he launched to the air)
Jaune: What do you meaaaan!...
He wanted to ask but he finally has to get hurled with the cloud of students now making their way dawn into the forest.
In the mid-air, Shirou began to activate his telekinesis skill to control his body only to find that he obtained a new skill called, Flight. He immediately use the newly obtained skill, and fly lower on the forest, then landing safely. As his feet touch the ground, he began to run in high speed to the Ruin and found that nobody has arrived.
Shirou: [Good, the chess pieces is still in nine pieces. In the anime, one chess pieces with bright color was already gone. Maybe some random minor character take it…? Whatever.] (He take the bright color chess pieces and left the place)
Ozpin and Glynda who observed the students, found out that Shirou has arrived at the ruin. They did not have any expressions of surprise on their faces despite knowing that Shirou had arrived at the Ruin faster than the others.
Glynda: What is Shirou doing? He suddenly left the Ruin.
Ozpin: Well, he has his own plan. Lets just watch the other.
Glynda: Professor, are you not worried for he no be able to find any partner?
