Sena and Tartarus fought for five more minutes before he had to log out.
He wanted to go to sleep early tonight so he could see what happened in [Twist of Fate]. He sighed and walked passed Kana and Rena as the two of them had started to spar. Kana was trying to hug Rena, but his step-sister was dodging in every way possible to avoid contact.
Kana was still only level 25, and his sister was level 210 in the [Seventh Dimension]. The difference between them balanced out the skill difference. When they got home, it would be much different.
"I have a technique to teach you!" Tartarus said as Sena started to exit the room, "I normally would have had to teach your for months, but now I can just give you a skill book."
"I'll take it," Sena held out his hand as the large Tartarus threw over a golden item.
It fell down on the floor as Sena sighed and went over to look at it. He wasn't that interested, but anyone that was so fast deserved a little bit of respect.
[Sixth Diamond Formation, First part] (Skill book)
[Sixth Diamond Formation contains information on how to defend with six techniques. The first technique is the [thunder-bird dodge]. To learn the other techniques, either beat Tartarus or earn them from his teachings.]
"I guess I'll learn it," Sena said as he looked over at Tartarus and waved, "I still think in a week I'll beat you! Have a good day!"
"Bring something here next time as a gift! Even a cookie would be fine!" Tartarus said as Sena left with Kana and Rena.
A few hours later, Sena got in bed and started to go to sleep.
He had his eyes closed as Kana slept on the floor next to him while Rena slept on his other side. She was complaining that Kana had been trying to sleep in her bed and it was keeping her awake.
Being a good brother was hard, so he had both of them sleep in his room.
Rena was snoring with her arm over him as Sena closed his eyes. He was imagining fighting Tartarus with the new technique that he learned. The thunder-bird parry shouldn't be all that impressive of a technique, but the more he imagined using it the happier he became.
The thunder bird parry was a small skill that had some understandings of chaos inside of it. He was pretty sure that when he mastered it the problems he was having in [Twist of Fate] would disappear.
The Warden he had to catch ran in twenty directions and required him to have to chase after him. The [thunder-bird parry] might make him fast enough that he can draw in the warden before he splits.
The other options the [thunder-bird parry] had was that it was good for deception. He could use it to seem like he was attacking behind someone through the use of sound, but secretly be in another part of the room.
The reason it was called the thuder-bird parry was not because it made you as fast as sound. Sena had long since surpassed sound when he attacked. It would allow you to use sound to confuse someone you were attacking, so they would think you were behind them when you were actually on their side.
"Sena, in the morning, I want pancakes," Rena rubbed her head on Sena's shoulder, "I want you to pour me syrup and compliment me three times."
"Go to sleep," Sena looked over at his phone as it beeped.
Could he have gotten a tribulation so late at night?
Normally, even his tribulations took a break at night. What could possibly be happening?"
