Chapter 72 - Dungeon Instance

Sena looked over at Rena as she appeared in the [seventh dimension].

Kana was already killing all the [Green Tyrannosaurus] because they pissed her off a few minutes ago. She was quickly leveling up as she cleared out the field.

Sena sighed and looked down at the map for the [seventh dimension]. There was a dungeon called Chaos Dungeon that he saw last time it was here. It seemed much harder than the other dungeons and was at the edge of the dimension.

He sighed and walked over to Rena as he took out [Cupid's Heart], the bow. Kana was finally done killing as many monsters and walked over to Sena with a smile on her face.

She was happy that Sena had finally come to visit her, and was also happy that the [Green Tyrannosaurus] were so easy to slaughter. There was nothing like killing prey that was just strong enough to run away from you for a few seconds.

She smiled as she looked at Sena as he hid something behind his back. Since she thought it was a pressent, she somewhat smiled at Rena as she walked over to her.

The two of them really hadn't been close their entire lives, in fact their entire existences, and it was common that the two of them didn't like each other since she married into the family. Rena's mother had been one of the top wives of her and Sena's father, but had gotten killed in a cultivation accident.

She still felt angry that Sena was one of the only people to show up for her mother's funeral in their entire family. Sena was only five at the time, but at least cared enough about her mother to attend the funeral.

Sena actually did have some morals, but he usually seemed calm and lazy to those around him.

He had two sides. One side that was lazy and only liked to play video games, and another side he only showed to his family on rare occasions. He could be tender and caring an kind, and even go out of his way to help someone.

Kana saw that in him as she approached him and watched him take out [Cupid's Heart]. she smiled and walked right up to the bow and looked at Rena as Sena prepared to pass it to her.

She was really excited to get a new weapon.

It was just in game, but she hadn't been given something from a man in a long time. Sena was her half-brother too, so it made it feel more special. She didn't even care that Sena kept poking her with an arrow as she looked at Rena.

"Is that for me?" Kana said as she crossed her arms. "I see you remembered to show me your soft side."

"What soft side??" Sena looked at Rena as she sighed and crossed her arms. "Wait, hold on. Can you face Rena for me?"

"Sure, but only because you showed me this place. I kind of like it," Kana said as she looked at Rena as Sena went behind her and pointed the arrow at her. He loaded it and fired it into Kana's back. This time the arrow almost went into her back, but bounced off and landed in the distance.

"Ow, what are you trying do, Sena," Kana looked at Rena and slightly smiled, blushing as she looked at her. Was something wrong with her, or was she actually getting over her step-sister's transgressions?

"This... this is just one of his ideas. You coming, Kana?"

"Ugh, yeah... You look nice today, Rena," Kana said as she looked over at Sena as he once again picked up the bow.

He was convinced it hadn't worked yet, and walked over to Kana and started poking her with the bow again.

He poked her with the arrow several times as Rena looked into her eyes.

Kana finally had enough and looked at Sena with an angry expression.

"Can't you see you're bothering my sister!" Kana grabbed the arrow and handed it to Rena, "She's clearly getting tired of waiting, Sena. Take us to the dungeon."

"I think it might have worked," Sena scratched his head and began walking towards the dungeon.

He was surprised by the fact that there weren't many monsters on the way to the new [Chaos Dungeon]. However, he ignored it and walked as fast as he could to get to the dungeon.

When he got there, the dungeon was surrounded by thousands of large golden trees that made it look almost like a palatial forest. He wasn't too impressed, but had to admit it was at least much cooler looking than the dungeon that Venus controlled.

He sighed and walked over to the door and got to the entrance of the dungeon.

He looked incredibly small in front of the door, but was surprised to see a sign at the entrance.

[One dungeon instance is currently being used. Would you like to use a second instance?]

"I-I don't understand... I thought we were the only ones who knew about this place."

"I did give the code to Leon's sister," Sena sighed and sat down in front of the dungeon. "Let's just wait a while until they come out. It shouldn't be too long. I heard this was one of the hardest dungeons in the [seven dimensions]."

"How did you hear?"

"Hades told me this place scares him." Sena took out a piece of paper and began writing down some ideas for what to do in [Twist of Fate]. "Hey, Kana... How are you feeling?"

"Nothing special... Just happy that Rena is here," Kana said as she looked around at the area. She suddenly felt the desire to pick flowers off the golden trees and embroider something for Rena.

It was so unusual for her that she blushed and began to quiver as she covered her face. This was not normal for her at all. Not even a little bit.

She walked over to get a flower and get some air as Rena walked over to Sena with a nervous expression. She remembered what happened to Sensei Anna, and didn't want the same thing to happen to her.

Kana was double her level, and even though they were both children of gods it would be night and day if she was pursued. Her worst nightmare wasn't Kana hating her, but loving her. Kana was even more relentless in pursuit.

"Don't worry. She's too strong to be impacted by a bow," Sena nodded his head and looked over at Kana as she picked some flowers. "She's going to get over it in a day. She has more things to worry about than her cousin."

"You-you have no idea how scared I am." Rena sighed and sat down on Sena's lap. "You-you better protect me alright? I'm staying at your house, in your room, until this is over."

"I'm going to even wear my nightgown in your room. I don't care how you feel!"

"Go ahead," Sena finished writing down an idea for [Twist of Fate]. "She's coming back with flowers. No need to worry."
