Chapter 52 - Venus

Inside of Shell Night Hall, Sena didn't see anything that was too special.

There was thousands of mirrors on his left and right side that extended into the barren, deserted wasteland that made up the inside of Shell Night Hall.

He walked inside while holding Rena's hand, and ignored the [wooden palatial guards] that could be seen reflecting in the glass. The only thing he wanted to do was get the quiver for the bow so he could get back to his room and play [Twist of Fate].

It should've almost been three hours and one of the bones that his avatar was digesting in game should've been fully understood at this point in time. The only problem was that he wouldn't learn how to use the skill in the real world until he loaded the game.

"Brother... is it me or is there someone watching us?"

"It reminds me of a carnival... Let's consider this a date..." Sena felt it was harmless to warm his sister's heart before he gave her the gift he'd made for her last night before he went to sleep.

Rena had fallen asleep on his lap as usual when he was up playing [Twist of Fate], and he used the time to make something with the blacksmith mode for a level 10 character. He sent it to his father's blacksmith after the design was done, and figured it would be ready for Rena by the time they went home.

He liked the idea of spoiling his cute little step sister, and finally found his way to the end of the mirrors before he saw a woman riding a lion with a bow on her back. Sena sighed and let go of Rena's hand before he ran forward at his maximum speed.

He looked like a bullet being fired from a gun before a large series of shards flew into the air. Sena broke through nearly two hundred mirrors and looked down at the broken pieces of glass in his hand...

"I hate illusions... It's the one thing father never got me to practice..."

Sena walked back over to Rena and shook his head before he realized that an arrow had hit her in the chest. It only was a surface wound, and was stuck on the tip, but she was facing Sena with a strange smile on her face...

She looked down and then up at Sena before she blushed and pulled out the arrow. Since she got hit with an arrow, this meant they didn't need to get a quiver...

"Brother... Let's get out of here... We can use this to save the two girls..."

"Were you looking at me?" Sena said as he grabbed the arrow and looked into Rena's eyes as she began to nod her head... "Do... do you feel any different towards me?"

"Nope... I'm fine..." Rena smiled and gently rubbed Sena's chest as he nodded his head and walked towards the exit... He smiled and was about to walk out the door before he saw a gigantic lion with a small girl sitting on top of it with a bow.

She had on a white dress and had a bar hovering above her head that said [Venus the Champion] over her head. He looked up at her and sighed before he pulled out [Cupid's Heart]. He sighed and put the arrow in it as the goddess stared at him with fierce eyes.

She also had a bow and an arrow loaded as Sena pulled back the string at the same time as her. She never had any intention of fighting Sena, and just wanted him to fall in love with her so she could take his body and use it to get to the real world.

Sena, on the other hand, didn't want to fight a little lollita that was on the back of a lion. He pulled the string at the same time as her and hit her in the head before he reached out and caught her arrow...

"You... you like me now right..." Sena walked up to the lion as it growled with a dangerous scowl before he stepped back and struck forward with all his might.

The lion burst through thousands of mirrors before a large hole opened in the side of the building and created a massive draft. The lions body disappeared into the distance before Sena reached down to pick up Venus as she fell on the floor.

She had an arrow right between the center of her skull, and looked extremely pathetic as she passed out onto the floor.

Sena just decided to pick her up and bring her towards Cupid so this entire matter could be resolved. However, before he left, he looked back to check on Rena one more time. She was blushing when she looked at him even more than normal...

"Brother... If your present is good enough, I might have to give you another one..."

"Let's go... Cute sister.... Your gift will be good I promise..."
