Chapter 8 - Rift Incarnate

Sena and Rena walked into one of the rooms in his house which was sealed with seven locks. He quickly unlocked all seven off them by touching a button his cellphone and then opened the door.

Rena had changed into a tight black, leather outfit while Sena had put on a simple pair of black pants and black jeans. He also put on a small black baseball cap to block out the sun when they went to train together.

Sena's father had set up gateways to hidden dimensions in his room and every day they'd randomly arrive somewhere. The first thing they had to do was make sure the settings on their phones were shut off that limited their power. Otherwise, they'd be killed faster then they could say the word "dead".

"Father... father told me this week's harder then normal... He says he's going to be watching the seven dimensions tournament and wants you to win..."

"Father turned into a gaming addict too..." Sena smiled and pushed the door far enough open that you could see ten doorways with black areas of distorted space. He chose to walk to the doorway on the left with Rena just to keep things easy for today.

[Welcome to Seven Rift Canyon]

[Please survive for three minutes... three of your family members are already participating in Seven Rift Canyon... Would you like to join their dimension?]

"Please state family members...."

[Current family members are Mica, Hell, and Kan... Would you like to join their dimension?]

"Sure..." Sena accepted it with a smirk before the black space he'd been sent to seemed to spread out rapidly before a large red wasteland appeared. He smiled and walked out of the portal with Rena holding his hand and leaning on his shoulder.

This was just a sign of family afffection, but Rena was blushing as they walked towards Mica Hell And Kan. They were standing in three feet deep salt water with a few dozen fish swimming against there feet, nibbling on them as the waves receded....

"Nothing too much to worry about... Just some Rift Incarnate..." Hell said who was also Sena's one year older brother... "Just don't mess this up Sena... I don't want to do this twice today..."

"He's been with a girl... I can smell it..." Mica said as she crossed her arms... "Were you training with her, or was it more of an exchange of hedonistic benefits?"

"She left with her shirt half on!" Rena said as she smiled... "I think he would've gotten further, but it was a teacher today! Grade A difficulty!"

[The Rift Incarnate are about to be summoned... Please remember to survive for three minutes...]

"So... you are moving onto teachers now... Perhaps you aren't so bad..." Hell nodded his head at Sena as he pulled a sword out of the fabric of space and bent it into a bow shape. He soon strung a line of white light around it and fired it as hundreds of black and quick creatures began to pop out of the sea.

Sena just sighed and took out his phone and sat down with Rena on the sea edge.

He didn't have to do anything for at least a minute, and was getting better at fighting the [bone horseman].

"He's gaming again... what if we die?" Mica said as she pulled an Ax from the air and tossed it forward, which caused it to turn into a line of light... "Wait, you are already level 15? How did you do it?"

"Seriously?" Hell complained as a few beasts burst into the waves... "I'm only level 16, and two years older... Sena... If you catch up to me, I'm going to kick your ass..."

"I have a date later tonight..." Sena said as he held up his thumb... "She's a big one... Will tell you guys more later..."

"Give me that..." Mica reached down and took the phone from Sena as Hell was left to do all the work. What looked like hundred of buffalo, but a thousand times larger, charged them at every side as Mica looked at Sena's stats... "No way! This is insane! You're up to [Harlot Lane]?

Sena nodded his head before he twisted his foot and sent out an attack called [silver crescent] that cut down a few of the gigantic rift incarnate as Rena laid down on the beach and looked up and smiled...

"Love you brother... Thanks for being the best..."
