The whereabouts of the Red Devil were something that could not be completely determined. After all, his appearance was very conspicuous so he had be very low-key. SuWan only found information suspected to be related to the Red Devil. He had heard that he once appeared in a German city. Then later at a Nazi's base camp. These sightings pointed to him to start his search in Germany. However, at this time it was not easy to get into the country, but for him it wasn't, not when he had a man with connections within the Nazi party itself, his partner Shaw.
SuWan, Dotty, Raven, Riptide, and that subordinate had set out directly after Shaw arranged their travel papers and cover identities.
After entering Germany's boarders, they had encountered several check stations making sure they were who they claimed to be and finally they arrived in a German city under the escort of a gruff German Sargent who had barely said a word to them during the trip. SuWan wasn't sure if it was because he didn't like his escort assignment or if he just didn't speak that much English. But either way if he didn't want to make small talk or worse, ask too many questions, that was fine with SuWan. He was enjoying the quiet traveling, seeing and admiring the country side of Germany with Dotty and Raven by his side.
Although Shaw had arranged their identity and papers, the Nazi's hadn't relax their vigilance. After all, World War II was coming to its end, and the Nazi's eventual defeat was growing more clear by the day. This period of time for them had put them on edge and were naturally stricter in their duties. However, Shaw had prepared bulletproof identity papers and cover reasons for their travels, and it didn't take long for the soldiers who were following up to leave them alone.
After all, while looking for mutants, they needed to avoid grabbing anyone's attentions for the time being.
Without these soldiers in the way, the next step was much simpler. SuWan asked Riptide to go out with his follower to inquire if there had been any similar news or rumors of the whereabouts of the Red Devil.
They stayed in a private residence, courtesy of Shaw, practicing his magnetic field control on his coin, while Raven followed Dotty into another room to study a new grapple technique. At noon, Dotty went out to eat, but when she returned, she had brought some news that she then shared with SuWan.
"News about the Howling Commando's?"
Looking at Dotty with a nod of understanding, SuWan waved, "Wait, let me guess first."
"The Roaring Commando's as well as Captain America's reputation is very loud now, the Nazis will have definitely paid special attention to any of their news, you couldn't have reached out to any of your key sources in the short time you were out. Therefor, this news should be well known with the bonus that It 's good for the Nazi's, so that it can improve their dwindling moral. So..." SuWan paused," did something go wrong with Bucky?"
Dotty looked at SuWan with an incredible look. Not believing that he guest it right on the first try!
"Yes, when performing a high risk capture mission of one of Hydras best scientists, under the leadership of Captain America, the roaring commando member Bucky Barnes accidentally fell into a icy ravine, and is presumed dead," said Dotty.
SuWan shook his head his eyes looking far off into the distance, "He shouldn't be dead, we will see him again in a few decades."
"A few decades?" Dotty looked at him, her eyebrows lifted with disbelief as she looked at his face trying to get any more information at his bizarre claim about a man that was presumed dead.
Dotty was puzzled, but SuWan gave no explanation. Now that Bucky had dropped into that icy valley, he should soon be discovered by Hydra and brainwashed into becoming the Winter Soldier. That said... Captain America was about to deal with Red Skull, and he would be frozen soon. Then, World War II should be almost over, and Peggy would then be transferred to the SSR branch in New York.
...
After staying for two days, Riptide finally had some luck finding info about the Red Devil from his inquiry's. He was in a nearby village near Lubeck. According to the villagers there, they had seen a red-skinned, long tailed man. People also claimed he disappeared a lot too. After hearing this news, SuWan told Dotty and Raven to stay put, and took Riptide and rushed over.
He was now confident in his abilities to deal with the Red Devil, but it was still too risky to bring Dotty and Raven, after all, the Red Devil's teleportation was still very threatening.
After hurrying along, SuWan was a bit worried.
The mountains were too big to carefully search, and they looked dense and gloomy at a glance. It would not be so easy to find a man that could teleport.
"What are we going to do?" Riptide whispered.
"Cause a little bit of chaos, forcing him to come out and meet us!" SuWan said after thinking for a while.
"Yes!"
Riptide responded, waving his hands, and two tornadoes flew out in a flash. In a moment, the surrounding trees were uprooted and blown upside down, spinning violently with the growing tornado.
No purpose, other than simply destruction.
However, if the Red Devil could be found here, he should... appear soon!
No mutant could bear wanton destruction where they lived, especially if it was caused by one of their own. In less than ten minutes, Riptide had cleared a large open space.
"Be careful!" SuWan warned suddenly.
"Rip, dodge forward!"
At SuWan's instructions, Rapids obeyed unconditionally. When he shouted his warning, Riptide ran forward.
The moment he ran out, a man appeared in the position where he once stood, a red sharp tail stabbing out, and it grazed the edge of Riptides cloths that were he had been only moments ago. If it is not the reminder of SuWan, this time, Riptide would probably have a new hole through his torso. Rapids ran a few steps more and turned around, watching the Red Devil after his sudden appearance, a little scared!
"How did you find me?" The Red Devil turned to look at SuWan, and asked with a little amazement.
"Airflow!" SuWan said lightly.
The tornadoes created by Riptide had formed a regular rhythm on the surrounding airflow. Although there was no wind behind Riptide, it was precisely because there wasn't any, so when the Red Devil teleported, there had be a slight distortion in the surrounding space, which was nearly impossible to notice unless one was looking for it. It being almost impossible to notice, if he hadn't been constantly vigilant, he was afraid it would be to late for him to react to any sudden threat.
"Keen observation, what's your name?" The Red Devil asked.
"There is no hurry!" SuWan smiled. "I'm here to invite you to join the Hellfire Club. If you are willing to join, I will tell you my name."
"And what if I don't want to join your little club?" The Red Devil asked.
"Then I will convince you, and tell you my name after you become willing to join!" SuWan said squinting.
