"It's up to you?" The Red Devil seemed to be provoked by SuWan's tone, and his tail fluttered as if he was getting ready to move at the slightest movement at any time.
"Riptide, let me see the results of your training throughout our travels!" said SuWan.
"Yes, sir!"
Riptide quickly responded, eager to try, while he was very annoyed when he was almost successfully attacked by the Red Devil before. The young and energetic man naturally wanted to perform well in front of his teacher, hoping to be affirmed.
With a loud yell, Riptide released his power directly, and the tornado came straight toward the Red Devil.
The Red Devil sneered, and with a puff of red smock he disappeared. A second later he re-appeared behind Riptide, his tail already swinging out like a steel whip. With the previous experience, Riptide naturally took precautions. When the Red Devil disappeared, he quickly moved from his current position. Then as he heard the whooshing sound behind himself he threw his whirlwind, that was in his other hand where he was just standing.
*boom! boom!*
The trees in close proximity were crushed and scattered due to the high intensity winds backlash.
It was difficult to hit the Red Devil even with constant repeating attacks, his teleportation was faster than his wind. His attack failed, but he also became guarded against the haunting Red Devil, Riptide did not seem to have an advantage.
*boom!*
Riptide's back was kicked abruptly, forcing him to lean forward, hurriedly trying to gain his center of balance by adjusting into a roll he counter-attacked by throwing another whirlwind were he was just kicked, but hit empty space.
After landing one move, the Red Devil began pressing harder, and kept teleporting around leaving red puffs of smoke. Riptide couldn't react at all, and he was gradually feeling like he became a sandbag with how he was constantly getting hit. It could be seen that the Red Devil did not want to kill him, but instead opted to play or humiliate Riptide instead!
This result was actually expected by SuWan, because Riptide was a fledgling new mutant that had only just began flexing his new muscles while the Red Devil had to be heavily guarded at all times to be able to dare live in Germany. Not to mention his ability had a slight restraining effect not giving Riptide any opportunity to show off what he was truly capable of. Therefore, it could be seen as normal for Riptide to lose to the Red Devil, but... Riptides performance did not have a flash of inspiration showing improvement under this stressful, and potentially dangerous encounter. Which in turn made SuWan a little disappointed. The training he had given him during this time did not express its full potential at all.
Although the impetuous Riptide tried hard to fight back, the longer it dragged on the more anxious he became, leading to the more unsuccessful attacks. He seemed to notice in his peripheral vision his teachers frown, and his features showing a little dissatisfaction. This made Riptide suddenly feel like a stone was set on his chest, he couldn't let the gentleman down!
"Something changed!" questioned the Red Devil feeling the difference in Riptides behavior.
Suddenly Riptide yelled loudly, bring forth a more violent and powerful expression of his ability. Suddenly, layers of whirlwinds were created beside his legs, and they spun up around him quickly.
Faster and faster, he couldn't see his legs anymore, but he could only see two whirlwinds spinning at high speed.
"No, its not enough..." In the whirlwind, Riptide were already sweaty and his features were getting wet with perspiration. He still couldn't focus his control of the wind to his lower body as the gentleman suggested he would eventually be able to do. As the wind got stronger, the dust trails stated going higher. In a moment, the whirlwind has spread from his legs to the top of his head. And it continued to spin faster, forming a cocoon of wind around him.
The wind still got even stronger still.
The blowing made SuWan's hair fluttered in a mess, and ringing began in his ears.
"Try this!"
In the whirlwind, the sound of Riptide could be heard suddenly, and immediately followed the whirlwind's sudden deformation, like a horizontal tornado hurling towards the Red Devil.
its speed was more than doubled.
"what?!"
The Red Devil screamed in surprise. When his reaction finally came, the tornado had already arrived in front of him. He hurriedly teleported away, the tornado continued its destructive path, the surrounding trees were swept up, and the debris flew out at least a few hundred meters away. Leaving long traces on the ground in its wake.
The wind eventually died out.
Riptide slumped and sat on the ground paralyzed from over exhaustion. In the distance, the Red Devil appeared from his red smoke, but his clothes had been shaved in a few places while his shirt was in taters. His upper body was bare, and the necklace on his neck was shaking. He looked a little worse for ware.
"I looked down on you," said the Red Devil toward Riptide.
Riptide didn't speak, and stood up shakily with its hands on his hips, wanting to continue the fighting.
"Well, let's stop right here," SuWan said loudly.
"Sir?" Riptide looked unwillingly.
"Overall, your performance was not bad. However, you will continue to practice after going back." Although he still didn't meet SuWan's requirements, he was already quite remarkable.
"Yes!"
Although still not fully reconciled, at least the gentleman gave affirmation to Riptides efforts then with a little swaying while walking he came behind SuWan.
"After the miscellaneous soldiers are defeated, it is the turn of the Lord." The Red Devil said while looking at SuWan.
SuWan smiled, "I didn't have any doubts. From the beginning, I knew that he was not your opponent, I just wanted to test the results of his training during this mission. Would you like to take a break? I don't want to take advantage of you. Because Once we start, even if you ask for mercy... I won't stop."
"It's not necessary," the Red Devil said arrogantly.
"Then... I'm starting!" SuWan smiled, taking out a coin, fiddled with it a few times between his fingers, and then bounced it up suddenly.
The coin spun and sparkled as it flew, as if there was a kind of attractive charm to it was making the Red Devil stare at it subconsciously.
Inexplicable...
He suddenly felt a strong sense of danger!
Almost subconsciously, the Red Devil teleportation directly.
Just as he was about to disappear, the tossed coins suddenly flew out at blinding speed.
If the speed wasn't astonishing enough, one could also hear the breaking of the air as the sound barrier was broken, followed by the Red Devil disappearing, and a blood stain left scattered on the ground...
