Chapter 10 - Reminisce Of Both The Good And Bad Experience With Ruoxi Yang

He hoped things were going to work out just fine for him. His plans were going to actualized in no time.

Getting home in the evening, he reminisced over the good time he spent with his ex-girlfriend, Ruoxi Yang. He smiled when he remembered the number of times Ruoxi had thrown a tantrum because she needed to be pampered like a baby by Jinyong. and when he failed to do what she wanted, she became angrier that very day.

Jinyong loved Ruoxi so passionately, his plans for his relationship with her was to get married to her and nothing less than that. But she had succeeded in ruining his plans with her nonchalant and not ready to change from the bad person she was to a better somebody just for the sake of the love he had shown her.

Although, Ruoxi was good to some extent just that she wasn't that type to be controlled by any man. She hated to be told what to do and what not to do, especially when it was coming from a boyfriend.

He Jinyong was not really controlling her, he did not forget to give her the freedom she needed. Telling her to change some of the ways she did things became a 'control' to Ruoxi.

**********

Ruoxi Yang was the only daughter of a multi-billionaire father. She was in her early twenties and had most times acted and talked like a little child. She had the nature of a kid and had refused to grow up when it comes to handling things her mates could handle so well.

She was spoilt by both parents that it now serves as a huge problem for them. They could now find it hard to restrict her from some certain things she was fond of doing that is considered not good.

A day came that her mother, Mrs. Yang tried talking some sense into her, let her know she was no longer a kid and should stop doing things little kids do. Ruoxi got infuriated by all her mother had said, she refused to see reasons as to why her mum had said that.

After all, to her she was acting the day she ought to be acting, she saw no reason why her mum had talked all that she talked about.

************

They both were a clear contrast of each other, Ruoxi was that Flexi type and Jinyong wasn't. She went to clubbing almost every clubbing days even against her parent's instructions.

In fact, that was one of the characters of fang that he really wanted to change completely but had failed on achieving it.

One really good thing about her was that she was an honest person, she could tell someone the real thing she had done not minding the outcome of her truthful nature. Although, she had always known she could get away with whatever she had done that had contributed to why she was doing all sorts of things Jinyong didn't really like.

Jinyong had broken up with when he saw that she was not ready to change. He was patient enough, he was way more matured than Ruoxi both in age and life experience. I think that was one of the reasons why he had exercised more patience with her. He saw her as a little spoilt brat who needed to care so much for if at all you want to transform her from a naughty spoilt brat to whom you want her to become.

They had had a tough argument on a fateful day, he had had it up to his neck that he found it hard to breathe fine.

He had called Ruoxi to show up at his place that evening, she had done exactly that. He guessed that day was going to be the end of his relationship with her. But how was he going to do what he had in mind without making her feel so much hurt?

"Hello, doll, how are you doing today?" He talked as soon as the call went through. He had called her the name he fondly called her.

"I'm doing quite alright, what about you?" She replied.

"I'm good, can you come over to the house right now?" He asked in a man like ordering tone.

"Are you ordering me or something? aren't you supposed to be calm when talking to me?"

Ruoxi said in a tone that depicts she was not happy about the way he had talked to her.

"Am deeply sorry, please I need you to come over, I really need to see you doll." He said apologetically.

He knew if he had not done that, there was no way Ruoxi would visit him.

"Alright, I will be on my way now, see you sooner." She dropped the phone on one of the couches in the living room as she dashed into her room to get dressed, she had just finish creamy herself up before the call came in, so she left her room to take the call at the room because that was where she had kept the phone.

In less than an hour's time, she was already at Jinyong's apartment. She didn't bother knocking before getting inside. She was fond of doing that, Jinyong didn't really like that but he was already used to it, he saw that as a small challenge to him. The big challenge before him was how to change her most bad sides of her.

He was of the belief that if he could change other things like her drinking and smoking habit, changing the way she barges into his house won't be a struggle for him.

She got inside and called out to Jinyong. " Jin! Jin!! Jin!!!" She called out repeatedly as if propelled to do so.

She was the only one who abbreviates Jinyong's name.

"You are here, I've really missed you!" he said as he placed his hands very closed to her boobs. She suddenly felt a very sweet strong romantic sensation. By now she thought he had called her because he wanted to make love to her.

"Yes Jin, I Am here for you," she said with a romantic low tone as if she was whispering. Jinyong already got it, she wanted it and he was going to disappoint her. That wasn't what he wanted that made him invited her over.

He let loose of her all of a sudden as he spoke with an unusual tone. "I called you to come over because I wanted us to talk, Ruoxi have a seat, please."

This got her back to her normal self, she was her self again after Jinyong called her name. She now knew he was not happy with her, he only called her by her name whenever he was angry with her.

But what had she done wrong, she was used to getting him angry but she can't remember getting him angry this very day. They hadn't even met for the way before this moment to have gotten him angry. She hadn't upset him over the phone either, she thought to herself.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked.

"I want us to talk about us," Jin answered her question.

"What about us Jin?"

"Are we going to continue with this relationship with no future plans from your own angle?

" I don't get you Jin, what are you saying?"

"You don't understand what I just said right? fine, I guess I have to be more explicit on this.

Will you accept to get married to me

peradventure I asked you to?"

"Rubbish! don't tell me this was the reason why you had called me here, it had better not be. Does it look like I would want to get married? even if I want to, it's not going to be now, not even in five years' time."

"Ruoxi, I'm not asking you to get married to me now, it was just a simple question that requires a simple answer, not a complicated one you just gave," Jinyong said, in a confused state.

he didn't know what to do at this juncture, he was confused. It was beginning to clear to him that Ruoxi was not going to marry him, not now not ever!.

"Jin, must everybody get married? not everyone is destined to get married. I guess I fall under this category of persons not destined to get married. So stop talking about marriage whenever we are together."

He had now gotten a clearer understanding of what Ruoxi wanted. She was not ready to get married and was not going to getting married as far as she was concerned.

But was she just going to throw away the three years of their lives together as lovers? because he sure was going to get married and make his own family.

how was he going to convince her now, his intentions of inviting her over was to break up with her. But now, Ruoxi was talking like a child who was already talking against marriage.

"My doll, don't talk like that. I don't think there is anybody brought into this earth who is destined not to bring forth another life to the earth.

If your parents never gave birth to you, you would not have been here saying all these things. Please, let's make kids when the time comes, am ready to wait on you till when you are ready to settle down with me, okay?" He said trying to convince her.

"You may not understand me now, marriage sucks! It's not what I can get into and stay in it forever, so it's better I don't get into it at all!"

She sounded like her mind was already made up, she was not going to change her mindset towards marriage.

"Who has been feeding you with all these philosophies about marriage? you are from a good home, I am sure your parents didn't raise you to fight against what God stands for. Your mum and Dad are doing just fine in their marriage, at least that's enough reason for you not to hate marriage, my dear."

"You disgust me! If marriage is what you want from me, sorry to say, I am done with you.!"

"Doll? just like that? I haven't said anything bad to warrant this, why are you so mad at me?"

"Your words hurt me and you have failed to understand that. Jinyong, we are two different people having different beliefs and philosophies about entirely, we can't make a good match okay, so it's fine we go our separate ways.".

" Not really Ruoxi, we can still make a perfect match, is just a matter of time we'll get to understand each other. I love you so much.?

"Really? you love me! what don't you understand here? everybody complains about my lifestyle, they don't see anything good about me, so how do I make a good wife. Inasmuch as I love you, I wouldn't want you to make the greatest mistake of your life."

I love you that's why I am letting you go, I want you to be happy my love, your happiness is of great importance to me, I don't want to be the architect of your pains and sadness."

"My love, I don't care about what people think of you, I think good of you. What matter most is the love we both share, I guess with time I will adapt to your way. Please don't do this to me? Jinyong pleaded.

" Nah! you can't adapt to my way of life, it won't be that easy. My own parents despised my way so much forgetting they raised me that way. If they could despise that same way they had raised me, what makes you think you could adapt. My dear, it's easy said than done so don't try getting into it in the first place.

Just don't forget that one spoilt naughty brat was once in your life, she loved you but her love for you was not strong enough to change her to whom you want her to be." Ruoxi Yang concluded as she walked out through the doorway without looking back at Jinyong.

Jinyong wept bitterly after she had left. He tried reaching her for days but her number wasn't going through. He went to her parents' house and discovered they had relocated to another city. He guessed that was why she had the mind to break up with him that way.
