After finding out that the snake was a monster rank two, the trio realized how powerful these monsters are in the tower of Claws and Fangs. The duo introduced themselves to the mage named Sky. (Sky as her name implies is a sky mage. She said that in mage tradition that their name is changed to the type of magic is their most natural.)
As natural as breathing Jax cuts into the snake and started to skin it perfectly. Sky went and gathered herbs and firewood, Chui scouted out the area around them. Looking around in the forest Chui saw another team consisting of 2 Qi warriors and 1 Witch Slayer who and the name implies counters the magic of mages.
Chui hurried back the camp and found that Jax had skinned the snake and started to skewered the meat. Sky built a small tent for herself and built a wooden array to search the sky's for flying beasts. Chui found out that his system had registered that normal shamans were classified as either demonic or angelic because of only one natural affinity but Chui had an affinity to both Demonic and Angelic Totems and spells which made him a Yin Yang guardian shaman.
Chui didn't really pay attention because Jax had said the food was ready and that he had prepared shish kabobs with strange fruits and snake meat. Jax ate as Chui looked distracted and Sky was watching the Sky on the first floor. Suddenly the group, Chui found earlier came rushing in screaming and with cuts and tears everywhere on their bodies, and the Witch Slayer has lost an arm completely severed.
The monster that was chasing them was the floor guardian which was a level 7 monster with strict orders not to let anyone access the array which reached the top of the tower. Bullets whizzed by as a magical soldier shot at the guardian from far away and the guardian got distracted and raced off towards the soldier.
Not stopping for a split second sky electrocuted the shoulder of the Witch Slayer and cauterized the wound.
The Witch Slayer said "Not only did I lose my arm I lost my life"
Not knowing what the Slayer meant, they realized it instantly that the guardian had poisonous fangs that left bite marks of the shoulder of the Slayer. Black cracks flooded the skin and black blood oozed from the eyes of the Slayer.
The Slayer never died not even after he lost all of his blood due to the Witch's anti-magic property of not letting the body die until the trace of magic was eliminated.
Of course, that never happened because the guardian was a rank 7th class Magical Celestial beast. The group left the Witch Slayer and sprinted in the opposite direction of where the beast went off to try to escape the tower.
The group ran as fast as they can running so fast that they didn't see the stairs and ascended the tower thinking that the stairs in the building were so that the monster could not reach them. On the second floor, the floor was a vast beach with sea monsters and beach monsters.
Seeing a 1-meter tall crab the group made a 2-2-1 formation with the Qi Warriors in front and Sky in the back. The Qi warriors pushed in as Chui summoned his support totem and raced into battle with his twin daggers, Jax was a demon slashing and stabbing with the Bone Carving Knife. Sky watching Jax in amazement completely forgot her role in the fight. The crab slashed and crashed against the Qi Warriors cutting up and bruising the Warriors. The crab grabbed Chui and threw him a tenth of a meter. Being thrown into a rock and coughing up blood Chui tried to move and realized that he had broken his leg.
Jax rushes to Chui and made sure that he was taken care of Chui's leg and bandaged his leg. Sky finally coming to her senses and a mist around the crab confusing it. The mist suddenly electrified and made a barrier around the crab. The Qi Warriors backed up and started to chant and focus their Qi into themselves and started to recover. Jax returned with Chui and ripped into the crab inadvertently casting Bard Class magic due to the speed of the knife.
Jax's System said[Due to pure anger you have learned Bard Class Weapon type magic Sound Slash: speed casts a sound that condenses and slashes as an afterimage of the weapon. Usable on Bladed weapons cost 2 MP per slash]
Slashing at the crab and inadvertently creating 5 Sound Slashes which killed the crab. The Qi Warriors looked in amazement so much that they forgot that they were still not even in battle. Jax looked at everyone and said "What?" Chui responded with "And I'll never make you made again." Sky having Chui lean on her looked at Jax and said" Well that's one way to deal with it." Jax looked back as the crab and saw that looked like someone took a TNT stock and lit it and shoved it down the crab's throat.
