Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: A Strong Victory

The battle in the arena between Guding and the tall man continued. Their states were evidently different, with Guding growing braver with each fight, while his opponent was mostly left only with the opportunity to defend.

Like a storm of attacks, Guding completely took control of the battle's rhythm, leaving his opponent barely able to parry.

He used all moves from Iron Fist's Fifteenth Form to Eighteenth Form; Ghost Kick went from Thirteenth Form to Eighteenth Form. Even the close-range Thunder Elbow and Flame Knee had reached the Twelfth Form.

The Eighteenth Form was already the final move on the third Floor, with a 150% boost, but Guding still found it insufficient.

Although continuous striking could possibly break the opponent's defense, Guding was not seeking this outcome. In his view, only by shattering the opponent's defense with a single strike could he achieve the perfect result he wanted. Thus, he kept pushing himself to launch stronger attacks.

After unleashing the final move of Iron Fist on the third Floor, Guding began to review the content of Iron Fist from the fourth Floor of the "Extreme Body Technique" in his mind.

The Sea Emperor wasn't keen on letting Guding access too much of the "Extreme Body Technique" too early because the cultivation technique inflicted significant damage on the body, speeding up metabolism, and accelerating cell aging and death. He hadn't stopped Guding because it was a virtual arena. Here, Guding's body was merely a conglomeration of data. No matter the extent of the damage, it might only dissolve into the void. In the virtual world, as long as the Sea Emperor wished, he could reconstruct Guding's body in the blink of an eye.

However, the Sea Emperor was more worried that in the virtual arena, Guding's thirst for victory would lead him to overload his body. In the real world, if faced with a similar situation, he might overload his body in the same way.

Guding quickly memorized the entire "Extreme Body Technique" of the fourth Floor in his mind and launched the First Move of the fourth Floor at the tall man.

His comprehension of martial arts was high, and the moves were executed smoothly.

Then he consecutively launched the Second Form and the Third Move, each strike more powerful than the last, sinking the tall man's confidence to the bottom. He thought that the opponent wouldn't sustain such physically taxing moves for long. Although the body is virtual, it completely simulates human physical power, endurance, perception, and spiritual strength. This made the tall man, who was originally confident in his strength and endurance, realize he might lose this time. Because he gradually felt his physical strength being heavily consumed, with his spiritual power nearly exhausted.

Guding used Iron Fist up to the Sixth Move of the fourth Floor, and his body had already been operating over capacity, making him feel that his hands might be ruined at any moment. Yet in this virtual arena, at worst, it would mean losing this match, and his body would reform once he left the arena, so Guding was not worried at all. At this moment, winning or losing was no longer important to him; what mattered was surpassing himself.

Thus, he unleashed the First Move of Iron Fist on the fifth Floor. When the powerful punch struck the tall man's chest, the tall man's face changed, and before he could react, his chest was hit as if by artillery. With a loud boom, his body was sent flying.

Before he could stand up, his chest had already shattered, and moments later, he found himself outside the arena. He looked up at the youth on the arena, whose entire right arm had shattered into fragments due to the recoil, but the youth stood on the arena, eyes calm, as if he had anticipated this outcome.

"This Killer Is Not Afraid of Cold wins!" the arena system quickly announced the result of the match.

"This overload in the arena is fine, but don't do such foolish things in the real world. Otherwise, your hand could truly be ruined!" Although he knew Guding might not listen, he still felt the need to say, "Don't think that with the Cell Repair Liquid, the damage will not matter. Cell Repair Liquid repairs the body by accelerating metabolism, and the more severe the damage, the faster the metabolism, and the shorter your lifespan."

In the monitoring room, the short-haired woman was a bit shocked to see this scene in the arena. She knew Guding would win, but she didn't expect him to win in such an intense manner. She vaguely understood Guding's purpose in participating in this arena challenge.

"Inquire if he wants to continue accepting challenges." The short-haired woman's lips curled slightly, and this time, her smile no longer held any provocation.

On the arena, Guding's arm had already reformed, and a dialog box appeared before him, "Continue accepting the challenge?"

"Yes!" Guding made his choice without hesitation.

"This time, your opponent's ranking is over five thousand, his strength is not too high, but his Special Ability is Invisibility. Do you need my help?" Sea Emperor asked.

Guding slightly shook his head, rotating his shoulder.

His opponent was soon teleported onto the arena, a man with a small stature, wrapped entirely in black clothes. Beyond that, his face was covered by a black mask, and his head was wrapped in a black cloth, revealing only a pair of eyes. Even his hands were wrapped in white cloth, clutching a dagger in each. His ID was "Invisible Tenderness."

Seeing this ID, Guding inwardly mocked, "Wrapped up so tightly, it's no wonder others can't see your tenderness."

"He's a professional killer, be careful not to be taken out with a single strike," the Sea Emperor's reminder echoed again.

Seeing the opponent's attire, Guding guessed the basics. After spending time with Reid, he became particularly attentive to details. The covering of both hands could likely be to prevent leaving fingerprints during assassination tasks. Not using gloves was because gloves would isolate the dagger's touch. Replacing it with a thin layer of cloth, although affecting the touch, could be adapted to through long-term training.

The black clothing was convenient for nighttime actions. Covering the face and hair was to avoid identification by unwanted witnesses.

In reality, the opponent's identity was likely an assassin. Such opponents were extremely dangerous, usually delivering a lethal blow if any flaw was caught. Those daggers were not for show; being stabbed in vital spots like the throat would surely mean immediate defeat.

Guding raised his guard, activating Vigorous Body defense upon making his judgment.

Upon seeing Guding, the opponent did not strike immediately, appearing to analyze his opponent as well. Shortly after, his figure gradually faded until he vanished completely from the arena.

"Disappeared?!" Guding was shocked. The Sea Emperor had warned him that the opponent could turn invisible, but he didn't expect it to leave no trace at all.
