Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Encounter with the Like Maniac

The Speed Wing Enhancer was also a genetic enhancement potion, unlike the White Rhinoceros Enhancer, which strengthened the power genes; it enhanced the speed genes. The process for crafting genetic enhancement potions was mostly the same, differing only in details.

Guding had once operated with a microscope to craft the White Rhinoceros Enhancer; this was his second time, and he was noticeably more adept. It took him less than two minutes to find the genetic chains he needed from the materials, although he was still much slower than Sazer, that speed was considered normal.

The many pharmacists watching were slightly surprised by Guding's crafting speed. After all, this was only Guding's second time using a microscope; usually, it would take a person at least six or seven tries to achieve this level of proficiency.

Meanwhile, Sazer's crafting speed had reached a frightening pace. He had already completed the extraction process and entered the distillation phase. His movements were fluid and without flaw, drawing accolades from the onlooking pharmacists.

Both Guding and Sazer focused all their attention on the pharmaceutical materials before them, completely ignoring the thoughts of those around them, steadily processing the materials at their own rhythm.

In less than eight minutes, Sazer's potion had already reached the blending stage. He used a unique shaking technique to oscillate the Fusion Cup back and forth. The various colored materials in the cup began to rapidly blend, transforming into a milky white under the watchful eyes of everyone present.

"It is Perfect Quality!" a gasp rose from the crowd.

Sazer's first potion was crafted with Perfect Quality, causing great pressure among the pharmacists in the Tianhe Star Domain. If Guding lost, it would mean the entire Tianhe Star Domain would lose face.

However, Guding seemed entirely oblivious to what was happening outside; his crafting speed remained steady and had also reached the blending stage.

Although similar recipes see little variation among different pharmacists, Guding obtained a formula from the Sea Emperor with three different blending sequences. Of these, the most difficult required the successive addition of three different extract materials within three seconds. This order increased the likelihood of achieving Perfect Quality significantly.

Dropping three different extract materials within three seconds didn't seem difficult. However, this operation was extremely demanding. The ratios of the three materials needed to be precise, and the dosage of eleven other materials also had to be considered. It was not just about haphazardly adding them.

Nevertheless, Guding felt he should give it a shot; the other two blending sequences posed no challenge. After making up his mind, Guding simulated the blending process in his mind and decided he could do it. He then began to act.

One pharmaceutical material after another was added by Guding, and even Sazer paused and did not commence crafting the second potion. His eyes shifted toward Guding, hoping to see the progress.

As Guding began the blending of the pharmaceutical materials, Sazer watched with anticipation, for the Speed Wing Enhancer had three blending sequences, a fact well-known within the Medicine God Alliance. Among them, one sequence he had tried many times before and never succeeded. Even his teacher, Menz, had said that such a technique could only be achieved by a Genetic Potion Master who had crafted over ten thousand genetic potions.

Could he do it?

Sazer's doubts were quickly answered when he saw Guding deftly pick up three tubes of pharmaceutical materials with four fingers of his right hand and, with a slight movement, add them one after another. The entire process was completed in less than two seconds.

Sazer watched intently as Guding finished the blending in his potion bottle, patiently waiting for the final result. Such rapid consecutive addition made him unsure if Guding got the proportions right just by sight. He could only wait for the final product to confirm.

Guding's blending was completed swiftly. He pinched the Fusion Cup between two fingers, a smile finally breaking at the corners of his lips. With a flick of the index finger of his other hand on the cup's body, the solvent inside quickly began a vivid color transformation.

Moments late, the inside of the Fusion Cup turned entirely milky white.

"Another Perfect Quality!" the onlookers gasped in awe.

"He actually did it!" Sazer kept his eyes fixed on the Fusion Cup in Guding's hand, whispering to himself as if he were talking to himself.

Guding poured the potion from the Fusion Cup into a potion bottle, sealed it off, and began the production of the second potion, ignoring everything else.

Sazer collected himself and continued working on the production of his second potion.

The crowd erupted into discussions, realizing that this was Guding's second time creating a Perfect Quality potion, indicating it was not luck but genuine skill. Several pharmacists noted Guding's blending sequence, with even two B-level pharmacists unsure if they could replicate Guding's technique.

"Whose disciple is this demon-level genius?" many wondered inwardly.

"This young prodigy, is he truly from our Tianhe Star Domain, or is he secretly a disciple of Master Madico?"

Questions surged forth, yet no one could answer them.

"Judging by his number, he seems to be new. He probably hasn't been at Medicine King Valley long. Based on this number, it should be possible to find out who recommended his entry," someone suggested suddenly.

In Medicine King Valley, personal information remained completely confidential by default, only showing a number and whether the person was a pharmacist or a temporary resident. Pharmacists with slightly higher access levels could find out the introducer through the number.

A B-level pharmacist stealthily looked up Guding's number and found the introducer listed as [Recommended by Madico and Pama jointly], "This kid indeed has ties with Master Madico."

Even pharmacists with insufficient access paid fees to find out who Guding's introducer was. Upon seeing the introducer, many became even more convinced that Guding was Madico's disciple.

Meanwhile, Guding's earlier video crafting the White Rhinoceros Enhancer had been seen by many pharmacists in Medicine King Valley, including Madico himself.

There were three videos of Guding crafting the White Rhinoceros Enhancer, shot from different angles by three spectators. One video was titled "Boy Genius Crafts Perfect Quality White Rhinoceros Enhancer."

Madico was lured in by this title. The White Rhinoceros Enhancer's formula inherently had flaws, making it impossible for even an A-level pharmacist to create Perfect Quality. Although Madico figured the title was merely a gimmick, he decided to watch it out of curiosity.

Seeing Guding in the video, Madico had no particular reaction. Pama had only told his teacher Guding's name and sent a video showing Guding at work from behind, and Madico had never seen what Guding looked like; he only knew there was a boy genius.

After watching the video, Madico was momentarily taken aback, "Does this boy know the complete formula for the White Rhinoceros Enhancer? Though his crafting was slow, it was noticeably his first time using a microscope, yet steady, even better than Pama's composure. Whose disciple is he?"

With this question lingering, Madico liked the video. Known for being a 'liker,' Madico liked anything he found interesting in Medicine King Valley. In the video section of Medicine King Valley, anything liked was automatically shared.

As soon as Madico liked the video, more pharmacists, including some A-level ones, joined in to watch it and silently liked it after viewing.

Guding had no idea that he had become famous unwittingly...

(What are your thoughts after reading this chapter? Liking is a good habit, though I personally prefer recommendation votes, you know~~)
