I woke up and yawned, revealing my yellow tongue, which is a strange color for a wolf pup as well as the other wolves. My black and yellow-tipped fur stands out among my father's pack but no one questions him as to why I am the way I am. I blink and look around, Father isn't in the den with me, so he must be hunting. I think to myself, standing up and stretching my tiny puppy limbs. Just then Father comes in with a nice plump and juicy rabbit, I could smell one of my mother's potions on it, despite never meeting my mother I can recognize her scents. I sit down and wag my tail, patiently waiting to eat. Father sets the rabbit down and nudges it towards me. I pounce on the rabbit and eat my fill. The potion that was on the rabbit takes effect and turns me into a human, like my mother, unfortunately, I am only a toddler. "Hm..." My father says, looking at me and watching me carefully. The potion quickly fades and I return to my wolf form.

"Woof! Woof!" I bark, running over to my father, tripping over my fluffy paws. My father chuckles and helps me up. I wag my tail in excitement and joy. Father and I leave the den to check on the other pack members.
