"I would like to learn [Gale] and [Heavy Slash]. My decision was instant since I knew what was going to appear.
'Damn, now I'm back to having next to nothing… but these skills are totally worth!' Gale is a great skill for heavy weapon users even with it's above average MP drain. For me, I will be able to evolve it after class changing into a Berserkr (players who are a Berserker will have a worse evolution if they can even get the book).
"Good. I like your eagerness." He handed the skill books, which I used right away.
"I have to take care of some things, kid. Come back later!"
I bowed, "Yes sir."

As of right now, there is nothing in the city that I need. Health potions aren't necessary because I gain health through killing things, and my fights last short enough so I don't run out of mana that often.
Currently I want the set that drops from the [Amalgam]s of the West peak because the set effect is comparable with my build. This will take a little bit more traveling, but it goes through an area I need to go to for an item.
Last time, it was a pretty popular area for early game farming, weird place to hide a forever useful artifact.
Even so, it still took somebody just shy of a month to find it (up in a tree). Many great things in Duality are located in unlikely places, giving those players who enjoy exploring a fighting chance.
The monsters here are around Lv.4-12, so most of the above average players should be migrating to spots like this, meaning I should be careful not to gain any "followers." Even the most focused would try and follow some sus solo creepin' around.
To avoid this, I activated [Gale] to lighten my weight for traveling across the canopy. Running up there is much harder and slower which coincidentally makes it a great strategy for staying off people's radar.
Even if the view was amazing, I spent no time looking around. With skill and precision, I nimbly jumped between trees as quietly as I was able to at the moment. Without my sword out, I'm not that heavy thankfully.
Towards the middle of this lower level zone there lies a rather large tree. Most people don't bother climbing up because it below resides a small mini-dungeon that spawns lots of canine creatures which parade out in waves. As long as nobody goes in and kills the boss, this will continue for a while (not like anyone could pull that off right now, its Lv.12).
Little does anybody but myself know that, near the top, is a small little room that holds a special chest. There are many like it across the continents of Duality, these house "advanced concealment" items. Most in the form of a cloak/poncho, they conceal your identity from anyone without a <★★★★> or better inspection skill.
Quite worth it if you ask me, I didn't have a <★★★★> inspection skill till I got to Lv.89 (around that, I barely remember).

"Sht! Heal me cl…."
Sounds of battle passed under me as I neared the big tree. When I got high enough to guarantee nobody would notice, I peered down.
As expected, the clearing below was a little obstructed by the branches. Even so I could clearly see a few teams around the edges farming and resting. 'Perfect!' I did a little fist pump, "They're doing nearly exactly what I remember the article said, seems I'm safe.'
I started up.
There were a few birds, but nothing attacked me up there. Evidently, not many large creatures would make their nests so far away from food if they were confident in their strength. The view though was great. The first day is nearly over giving the sky is a beautiful orange glow with a slight hint of purple. The landscape with the mountains in the distance (not fury) looked like a Bob Ross painting.
It made sense that someone would build such a cute little house on in side of the tree. I had just arrived there, and was taking a second to look out and collect my thoughts. Excitement, fear, indecision, disbelief, 'I can't believe I'm actually back…'
I probably owe Duality my life. It gave me a new home and provided an outlet for my anger. If not for this, I may have never gotten back to now.
~
After a hot minute of calming down, I was ready to go. I sat up, bushed off my pants, and went to the chest at the back of the room.

"WHAAAAT the-
…
Huh?"
At this moment, I felt like RNJesus was playing a cruel practical joke on me. I can't remember every detail from before I joined, so an early game chest containing an actual GOLD weapon, and more surprisingly a 3★ skill really ruffled my jimmies.
I'll use the book on myself, there's no doubt about that. But that dagger will most definitely be auctioned off. And with the first real dungeons being opened for those near Lv.15, this thing will be highly sought after by any guild wanting to gather members from the huge player base of Duality.
'Kekekekeke~ My first paycheck!'
Gold rarity weapons and armor are nearly impossible to find before Lv.20, so this thing is definitely best in class. And with the rarity of coins right now, I will be able to get a price way over it's actual worth in real cash!
It's currently about 19:00 to 20:00 in the real world, so sun was now about to set in the distance. In game, the time flows slower in than out, so the (for now) 36 hour day would only count for one in real life. 'Wow... I've spent close to the whole day in here. I need a break.'

"Uhhhgggg~ so fcking sore…"
These first models of the VR capsule were uncomfortable and had no way to feed the user while they were in-game. In the future, going even 3 natural days straight was possible without feeling much worse than I do now.
For a bit I did some stretching to loosen up before I eat and eventually go to bed. I'll get back to exercising after the 3 day period that doctor gave me to rest.
