Lurch had told Tye to come down when he was finished exploring his power to talk to his dad. Tye had observed Lurch until he left before asking his augment what that was. 'You know all of that information about him and what you didn't know I did there it is in a nice little compiled form I did the same for you.' Tye nodded before heading over to the mirror that the old Tye's had. He looked at himself and saw his compiled information.

Tye read over his stats for lack of a better word "I get the name, race, affiliation, and power but what's cultivation, techniques,abilities, also base state and the 1/100 by it I think I know the last one but a confirmation wouldn't hurt." his augment chuckled before speaking in their mind "You didn't think people just relied on their powers did you? A body can only handle so much energy even the greatest being starts of weak still waaaay stronger than you but weak compared to their future selves. As you use your power a.k.a me you will strengthen it gaining the ability to use more powerful abilities. Your body will only hold up so long unless you get an avatar ability which is basically a built in cultivation method. Any other ability needs you to wield Aether which means at a certain point your body will not be able to use enough Aether to use your ability at it's max right now your ability to use Aether is level 1 that means how much you can channel and how pure it is. Similar to a body not having enough food your ability would start to eat your body in an attempt to fuel itself any time you overdraw your ability too much and you die but that's not a problem now i'm at my base state a good rule of thumb is to be at least two level higher that your power when your Aether manipulation level raises that's a good time to upgrade you power." here the unnamed augment took an exagerated breath.
"Cultivation is any technique that strengthens you with repeated practice. There are many types of body, soul, mind hell, even astral body cultivation. It just depends on what the cultivation technique is for. Technique is similar but rather than strengthen you it will be something independent a movement technique can let you move at the speed of light but not when you don't use it, while a movement cultivation will be constant but much less effective.".
Tye nodded "Basically one is active and one is passive." the augment hummed in their mind "Yes but not exactly there are exceptions but they are not terribly important right now. Now to your next question abilities things that are inborn abilities are techniques you can use by the virtue of it being an ability an example would be your ability to see,the same with your ability to run and if you had wings your ability to fly.". Tye nodded "But I can only see despair when you're with me." the augment made a sound of confirmation before speaking "So have you thought of a name for me." Tye thought before offering his suggestion "Scribe." the augment hummed " That's still a super shitty name but it'll do for now but we will come back to it.".
Tye laughed "Now that you have your name what about the base state I didn't forget." Scribe sighed mournfully "Is it so wrong for me to want to be something to have a name the most basic of rights." Tye snickered at Scribe's melodrama and getting Scribe to leave his eye to bow which was more of a bobbing motion while he looked down before he reentered and continued. "Abilities evolve with enough use most sentient types can tell you when they are going to evolve but as an augment that doesn't like to waste time I can just show you what you need to aim for you make a contract with someone of sufficient strength higher than a level 1 but lower than level 3 as if they decide to break the contract the backlash of the deal trying to read their mind and tell you if they broke it would only hurt us." Tye nodded and smiled "Well we better get started."
