Wen Yi held the phone in one hand and with the other, she pushed open the car door and stepped out. A cool breeze carrying a chill swept past. She looked around the estate, pondering whether she could consider this place as—"I'm back."
But that thought was fleeting, and she promptly replied with a laugh, "I've arrived. Are you home yet?"
With a "bang", the sudden, loud sound of a door slamming startled Wen Yi, making her heart skip a beat and nearly causing her to drop her phone.
