Shanque returned very soon.
When she returned, several people followed her.
Among them were Falcon and Mountain Eagle, whom Luo Ziling knew, and a few others he didn't recognize.
Besides Shanque, who was still in camouflage military uniform, the rest were in casual clothes.
Their expressions were solemn, their faces taut, and their footsteps light as they walked.
In Mountain Eagle's hands was a bunch of flowers, not the common roses or carnations but wild chrysanthemums; Ziling wasn't sure whether they were bought from a store or picked from the wild. The others also held something in their hands: food and drink, fruits, and some nourishing products.
Seeing Shanque followed by five or six people, Luo Ziling paused briefly before he stood up.
"They wanted to come and see Kong Que," Shanque explained with a touch of embarrassment, "There were others who wanted to come, but I stopped them."
